ESF to make concessions
Due to lower collections this year, the Empty Stocking Fund committee has voted to not provide additional food items usually bought to go with canned foods collected from the schools.

Odd logic I think! Let's not buy extra food so we can spend more on toys?!?!?! Anyone know the best way to cook legos so they will be tender enough to feed the kiddos the day after Christmas?

Most of the people that apply for empty stocking have medical reasons and can not work to provide christmas for there children. Most of them probably recieve food stamps and they want help for christmas not food.
