Between Friday, Dec. 4 and Thursday, Dec. 10, the Lamar County sheriff's office made 18 arrests:
Kadar Osman Yousuf, 18, Scottsdale, possession of alcohol underage;
Gavin Theodore Harris, 18, Gordon, possession of alcohol underage;
Darius J. Stevenson, 19, College Park, disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol underage;
Elizabeth U. Nwogu, 21, Barnesville, disorderly conduct;
Edward Arthur Richmond, 19, Stone Mountain, possession of alcohol underage;
Terrell Amey, 20, Luthersville, possession of alcohol underage;
Jeremy Michael Reeves, 33, McDonough, four counts deposit account fraud;
Maurice Elliott Chambers, 54, Barnesville, probation violation;
Anthony Maurice Parson, 23, Barnesville, driving without a license;
Truman Harry Smith Jr., 20, Zebulon, disorderly conduct;
Dennis Dentavious Caslin, 18, Macon, possession of alcohol underage;
Dustin Joel Stevens, 28, Milner, probation violation;
Cheryl Susanne Flournoy, 40, Barnesville, contempt of court;
Farid Mujahid, 35, Barnesville, probation violation;
Artis Lee Raymon, 46, Atlanta, contempt of court;
Dustin Allen Williams, 28, Covington, possession of marijuana and weaving over the roadway;
Timothy James Bergman, 29, McDonough, possession of marijuana;
James Lewis Watts, 53, Barnesville, probation violation.
Deputies answered 155 calls, responded to 10 traffic accidents, served 10 warrants and 27 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 23 citations. Lamar County E-911 received 98 emergency calls, dispatching deputies to 40, city police to 17, county fire and rescue to 20, city fire and rescue to three and EMS to 43.

























Or how about lets ride the roads all the time @ 45-55mph hoping just hoping that we will see someone crawling through a window. I think the chances of that is as good as hitting cash 3 every day for 2 weeks.
There has to be a happy medium. Patrol some and set up some areas to get criminals. I do not agree with the LE agencies just doing stuff for revenue.
It supposed to be to "protect and serve". That is long gone for most all deputies or LE that we have now. Its all about showcasing how much power you can bring to the table. If it wasnt all about revenue there would be no such thing as meeting a quota.
It's incumbent on all of us to fight crime, we're all in this together. So, if you see something suspicious in your neighborhood or while you're walking or driving, call it in.
I don't know why people think everything is "someone else's job".
