if this story is legit, then the inmates obviously had big help from the outside and inside of their cells.
being curious of this fascinating story you tell, if this was never released to the public media, how did you come about this?
as to the subject of the article, if the prison system didn't delay the act of killing the inmates on death row, (being that the inmates on death row had a grand jury to convict them guilty of whatsoever the crime committed may have been, which in itself is a lengthy process) and just carry out the process of elimination, all of this time put in plotting and stratifying would be cut short as well as the life of the inmates on death row.
They were more than "one doo away from being free. Remember that there are two sets of fences too.
I have worked every single area that prison had to offer including all of the towers (including T9,t10 and rear gate) and i never saw a blind spot from any of them.
A lot of the stuff they had came from the "outside world" when they tried to escape"
They had been working on this for years.
Im with #2.1. I would be willing to help an investigation into that place. There is lots of stuff that goes on that people had no idea about.Even the DOC headquarters dont know about. That is a very dangerous place because of being under staffed. If the federal level knew how much of a mess that place was they would cut off funds or bring federal reinforcement in there.
There was an officer that got stabbed in the eye the other day at the high max. I wouldnt go back there for anything in this world.
I still have contacts and the prison that have some pull and get info as soon as it happens.
They said that the GBI came there also. The DOC told the Deputy Warden of Security (R. Brooks) to pack his stuff and he was gone. Supposivly he is on the audit team. I always liked Brooks. He was a major when i was there. He ran a pretty tight ship from what i could tell.
If there was no death penalty, prisoners would be sent to prison for life and they would never get all the appeals that are so expensive. That's what costs so much money; not housing inmates.
True, some of these people are really bad, but some may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. Stop being narrow minded!
