Despite a contract to buy water exclusively from the Lamar County Water & Sewer Authority, Vulcan Materials has not used any county water for the past several months at its northeast Lamar quarry site.

You would think thats a good thing since theres been such a water shortage.

To buy water from the county.........I wonder if this is how they got the leverage to get into Lamar Co. in the first place? More big trucks on HWY 36 going 70 MPH........yea that's what we need.

Looks like project Hardrock has been set back for a while. That's good for the residents up around the quarry.

there has never been that many trucks on that road running that fast it just apears that way becuase we are bigger than you are so get over it. instead of belittling us you might want to thank the nexy one you see for bringing you your food and cloths.WITH OUT TRUCKS,AMERICA STOPS.

I travel 36 daily and at various places the speed limit is 45 MPH
Trucks ride my butt when I'm going 60 MPH. I know just how fast they are going. Thankful??? I pay plenty at the store so they can get a pay check. Without a customer they have no job.

Well why dont we just park all of them and see just how long it takes for there to be nothing at the store for you to buy. And just why are you running 60 if the speed limit is 45? I think you need to re avaluate what your doing and quit worring about what were doing.
