The 14th annual Barnesville Game and Fish Banquet is tonight in the gym of First Baptist Church.

What is it? Why go to this? It sounds like somehting my husband would like, but I can't tell by the article what the banquet consists of.

Thank you, that much was obvious. My question was more related to: are there vendors in attendance, trade-show type displays, what kind of seminars- how to's, where to go in the area, etc.
You really made it crystal-clear for me, #2. 'Preciate all that helpful input.

My dad and i use to go to the game and fish banquet its a cool place to go teaches our little kids about fishing and hunting and safety

Contact First Baptist Church for tickets. Anyone is welcome to come. The seminars vary year to year. The banquet usually consists of a BBQ meal, then also various wild game dishes that people have prepared. Tickets are $5.00 each or you can get a whole table for $45. They give out really great door prizes.

I wonder if all these fishermen and hunters will leave their styrafoam coolers on the side of the street, like they do on the road. They claim to help the environment, but their trash is everywhere at a lake or on the highway. Hmmmmmm
