Jersey's Sports Bar shut down operations Tuesday afternoon, making it the second restaurant/bar along the College Drive corridor to pack it in in recent weeks.

All I have to say is...Amy kicked butt as our waitress...she paid attention to my kids...cut up with me and my husband and was jam up on the service...I HATE that she lost a job!! Hope someone with sense recognizes what a jewel she is....Jerseys was awesome until it was sold and then it went downhill...I will miss the burgers and my kid will miss the shrimp..SOMEONE BETTER GIVE AMY A JOB ... best damn waitress in Bville!!!
He don't get it. No more bailout. No more cut. Is Obama bad for business? Is Obama bad for America?
A bad idea for President. Bad economy $10 trillion. Bad health care $800 billion. Bailout $4.7 trillion. Jobs loss 598,000. $15.5 trillion in 20 years. Obama took 1 year to mess up.
Well that explains why, when we went in there on Friday evening, only the bar was packed and nobody acknowledged our existance.
We gave it 5 minutes and left and went elsewhere. But I'm sorry Jersey's didn't make it.
It was not the economy that killed Jersey's, but a lack of consistency. I went there once and got a great meal and then the next time a real dog. Several people I know experienced the same thing. That will kill a business in any economy.
too bad the redneck crew doesnt have anywhere to hang out now. i guess theyll start going to el durango again.yay.drama.gun slingin mamas and trouble making young adults.fun.
I noticed that the Hot Dog place was closed up yesterday, also. As far as Jersey's goes, the food was bad and the service was bad if you were not in the bar section!! Sorry...but they closed because they were bad, not because of some big conspiracy against businesss!
Another restuaraunt. Go out of business. Sonic Drive In, El Durango, Pastime Grill and Big Daddy Hotdog. Bad economy. A bad idea for President. Is Obama bad for economy?
Hey pal, please look into attending the Sylvan Learning Center, or at least check out Hooked on Phonics. They can help you with your incoherence. Or maybe the detox center can help....

omg really? How are you comprehending the internet? Did someone assist you with finding this site? BTW, I thought maybe the first time was a typo but "crasy" is spelled with a z not a s. Crazy, I know, you'll be ok though.
Aaahhh, I finally saw the Allstate sign! If you stand across the street you can see it! I have gone back and forth on Forsyth St. everyday and had not seen it, but today at the PO I finally saw it.
Again, the Allstate (I like the blue color) sign is there afterall! Stand across the street and you can see it!
Retired from advertising sector years ago and can not help but comment. The Forsyth Street corridor is a fabulous opportunity for exceptionally high visibility. An entire exposure package, consisting of ONE misplaced sign, is tragic. For Peet's sake, one must wander across the street to even notice it. I am somewhat surprised that a company as large as Allstate does not have more experienced advertising team working with their field agencies.
I like to drink beer.It is good for my anxiety and my stress.Beer is good! And it makes all the nonsense written on this blog funny! And Im not ashamed to say I love it.The beer that is.And I love Barnesville too.

???whats going on in this town???
It's the old SF office, but when they get signs, you'll see what I'm talking about. Trust me, they moved beside Big Chic in the old SF office.
The Gazette needs to start putting a warning screen up that some comments may cause migraines.
