this is more reason for everyone that is able to go into the courthouse and apply for their carry permits. If someone would have been in that bank with a firearm and shot this idiot and killed him you would have been covered. You feared for your life and other peoples life and this robbery was a felony. Shoot first and ask questions last. Go with what you know.

Hey Numb nut, did the guy have a gun, a knife, brass knuckles. Non of that was mentioned in the article. Did he just hand over a note that said put the money in the bag. Find out what he did first. Your the kind of guy who shoots a kid on your lawn because he grabs a cell phone from his pocket. With guns come responsibility and shooting a bank when no one is being harmed is not responsible at all.

I think the tern referring to nut is plural and it should be nuts. “did the guy have a gun, a knife, brass knuckles.” You did ask a question and therefore should have ended the sentence with a question mark. “Non”? I think you meant None because non is a prefix meaning not. And of course there is no excuse for “Your”. Your is a pronoun used to describe ownership but can be used as a noun and even a verb such as thou. I believe you meant You’re; which is a contraction meaning you are. Also you mentioned that he would be irresponsible if he shot a bank when no one is being harmed. Personally, I think he would be irresponsible if he shot a bank for any reason.

In a bank robbery situation... it's not worth anyone's life to fight over the money. The money is insured by the FDIC. Let them have it. They'll pay the price for it eventually. However I am for people carrying weapons but there's a lot of rules that come with carrying a concealed weapon. Keep in mind that if you're somewhere & they notice you have it they can ask you to leave. Just saying!

To everyone that thinks this a job for Tango and Cash or Dirty Harry, you can kiss my ...! This is a job for Griffin P.D. I think that their record speaks for itself. I don't think that they have an unsolved bank robbery yet. If memory serves me correct, I think that just recently they solved 2 bank robberies for Pike County. For all you know, the suspect just might be from Barnesville. If you have relevant info. or think you know how to solve the case, if you call them, they will probably listen. ( or not )!!!

Tern - a seabird. I hit the "n" and not the "m". "I think the (seabird) referring to nut is plural and it should be nuts." I agree. I think term is better too.

Heard today that a bill is working its way through the Georgia legislature that will require one to travel to Atlanta to obtain a gun permit. Everyone needs to call their state representative immediately. Might be something the HG could check out and report on.
