five or 10 years ago? murders now seem to be almost as common as bake sales. to what do you attribute the increased crime rate?

are you afraid for the safety of yourself and your loved ones?

Afraid, not too much. I feel relatively safe at home anyway. I know though, that since Gordon has expanded, we're getting a lot more riff-raff around town. My neice goes to Gordon and says that there's alot of drugs on campus.

No this town is not as safe. There are too many people brain dead from drug use.Meth and crack will make people do anything.

Maybe the DA should stop making deals with meth dealers and prosecute them instead of those they have ruined. The meth dealers walk every time.

I feel safe at home. I have 100 reasons to feel that way. 100 reasons are tucked tightly into it's metal abode. 100 reasons to, one at a time, come out at a very rapid pace to detour anyone that may have stumbled onto the wrong place at the wrong time.

Lottery funded minority Gordon "students". Most of this trash wouldn't be anywhere near a college otherwise.

Crime in general seems to be increasing in the Barnesville area. Ever watched the open drug deals at the corner of Railroad and Mill Street...?

Perhaps our "brought back" sheriff could direct some talent toward that? Nah, I didn't think so either.

hey, wait a minute. my education at Gordon was funded by the lottery. and i'm not trash and i don't commit any crimes. i know a couple of guys from Gordon were involved with some violent crimes, but as far as I can tell....most of the people in the news for the crimes in Barnesville are FROM Barnesville or a neighboring county. And not many of them are college students. You need to make some closer observations. maybe this time pay more attention to details. i'm just sayin'....
