Between Saturday, Jan. 16 and Sunday, Jan. 24, the Lamar County sheriff's office made these arrests:
Chere Valencia Lee, 20, Monroe, DUI-alcohol;
Elson Lloyd Ingram, III, 19, Peachtree City, DUI, alcohol, headlight requirement;
Clifford Jamal Franklin, 26, Griffin, probation violation;
Dylan Tyler Smith, 17, Milner, possession of alcoholic beverage under 21;
James Douglas II, 22, no address given, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, inmates possession of weapons/drugs;
Barbara Lynne Feeney, 46, Barnesville, driving while license suspended/revoked;
Joshua Ryan Windom, 19, Milner, probation violation;
Kendarius Jamal Brown, 17, Milner, simple battery;
Michael Monroe Watkins, 20, Fayetteville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;
William Amechi Ofili, 21, Fayetteville, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, speeding;
Kenneth Leo Ware Jr., 19, Barnesville, DUI-alcohol, weaving over roadway;
Christopher Scott Marcum, 32, Corbin, Ky., giving false name/information;
Corry Edward Hugh, 17, Barnesville, speeding, violation of limited permit;
Javer Alfonso Romero-Juarez, 26, driving without license;
Gerardo Vega, 27, Jackson, driving without license.
Deputies answered 97 calls, responded to eight traffic accidents, served two warrants and 37 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 12 traffic citations. 911 received 62 emergency calls, dispatching deputies to 18, city police to 16, county fire and rescue to 21, city fire and rescue to none and EMS to 27.

























Or we can do nothing and suffer the consequences of an entire generation of people robbing, stealing and commiting other crimes because they are unaware of their true potential.
I do agree on the job training, after school programs, and more productive community services, maybe the recreation dept could branch out more activities for young adults.
that is what they are, young adults, not children, if that was the case then you wouldn't see their names on this report, because they would be considered juveniles.
