Former Lamar County sheriff Joe Buice remained in stable condition Saturday morning at Grady Hospital in Atlanta.

People are so stupid if the man was going to kill hisself he should have went ahead and didi it not shoot at innocent people!! I would have killed his butt too.

We are all praying for Deputy Buice. My husband too is in law enforcement and this kind of call is my biggest fear. Just know that the brotherhood of officers is with you.

It does take a special type of person to do law enforcement they deal and see so much and they do not do it for the money they do it because they like to help people like us there special people and may god be with Joe and his family

Our prayers are with Joe, for a full and speedy recovery. He is a fine man and an asset to the local law enforcement community...it is good to see people supporting him and his family.

Our prayers go out to Joe and Mark for your speedy recovery. Innocent people did not deserve to be hurt. I don't understand why people want to hurt themselves much less others. My mother always told me as a child "Nothing is so bad that you would want to take your own life. God will never give you more than you can handle." Obviously this guy needed some severe help and others did not pick up on his escalating behavior. His family needs prayers also because they are hurting as well and probably have no idea why he did what he did. It's sad this man thought divorce was the end of the world and wanted to take his own life and hurt others in the process.

I wanted to let Joe and his family know that over the weekend at The Men’s Conference at First Baptist Woodstock,It is an annual event over two weekends with 10 to 12 thousand men attending, They had prayer for his recovery. Just wanted to let you know that people all over the state are with you.

Isnt this talking about temptation? Not situations in life but when we are tempted to sin? I understand what your saying, but, temptation is not situations
