Once I was enamored with the Academy Awards, as I have gotten older and hopefully wiser, I find I march to a different drummer than most of these persons. It doesnt matter to me who gets what for what. I am not being cynical, I feel these persons are there for show, and nothing else.

Inglorious Basterds, The Hurt Locker and The Blindside were all great movies so anything they win will be fine with me.

I am just not enamored with Hollywood..I could care less who wins..I have enough problems to worry about now days with my family..

I might watch for 30 minutes for the escapism factor but then I'll get bored or wander off in search of a book and will have no idea who won what until I log onto my computer on Monday morning.
