Mr. William "Cicero" Greene, age 80, of Hampton passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 in a McDonough Healthcare Facility. Services for Mr. William "Cicero" Greene will be conducted from the Graveside on Friday, March 19, 2010 at 2:00 in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is at Williams Funeral Home on Thursday March 18, 2010 from 6:00 pm. until 8:00 pm.

Cicero Green was one of a kind and an asset to our community for many, many years. We always said he had nine lives. His tenth one is eternal. Farewell, Mr. Cicero.

I remember Mr. Cicero, haven't seen him in a few years and one of the things that I remember about him was his sincerity and smile! He will be missed!!

Cicero Greene was a good and honest man. He led by example, and although I know he will be greatly missed by those who were blessed to know him here, I am certain heaven has opened the gates wide to welcome him in.

I absolutely loved Cicero, and hate it so bad that he's passed away. I am a better person for having known him.

God bless all of Cicero's family. I absolutely also love this great man that I got to know him when I was a young employee of Barnesville back in the 1970's not long after I got out of the USMC in 1972. We talked alot and we both had Burnette ancestors,and he taught me alot about Barnesville that I didn't know, but I have many ancestial relations to B-ville and love it, like I loved him. The last time I saw him a few years ago was at the Barnesville Library on Thomaston St. and we talked history and old times.

I saw his brother,Mountain, sometime last year in Thomaston and asked about Cicero, and where he was cause I always loved Cicero. Cicero, I know you are in heaven cause you were such a sweet,nice man, and I know you told me about your service in Korea. God Bless you and yours, and all our patriots that have served our country.

I also am a Cousin of Cicero's. Yes, he was
such a wonderful person, and always so helpful
to everyone. He had such a Swseet Smile and
that somehow always Showed the Real Spirit of
Him. We in our small ways should try to be of
the same loving spirit. He will surely be
missed by each one of us that his life touched.
Cicero Loved each and every member of his family, and Know that he was Loved.

I know his rewards in Heaven with Our LORD Jesus will be Great, because he lived such A
Christian Live here on Earth, and as one of
Gods Greatest commandments is to Love thour
neighbor as thour Self. This is what Cicero
did.
