Dr. Lee T. Woodall of Barnesville has been appointed to the State Medical Education Board by Gov. Sonny Perdue.

Congratulations Lee. What an honor! We are very fortunate to have such a caring individual in our community. Nice to hear of the good works done by those living in our city. Your work in Honduras is admirable and you've encouraged many people here to not only help other countries but also to get involved with local charities. Well done!

What doctor's office do you don't have to wait forever? Better get use to it because it is only about to get worse.

Sure wish he had some continuing education work with endocarditis or FUNCTIONAL DIAGNOSTIC MEDICINE in 1989. I guess all the graduates from Baylor and Johns Hopkins were busy saving lives .Oh that's right we're talking about a GA governor.Education has never been very important to the GA taxpayer,they just like to argue about flags and junk.

there is absolutely NO reason to have to wait for 2 hours when you have an appointment. I can see waiting half an hour but not 2 or more. Anyway congratulations on your achievements.

Unfortunately you are right about the shamefully poor quality of medical care provided in rural Georgia... and the useless ideological turf wars that consume so much of State Government's energy and scarce resources.

just wait and see what you have coming now

Better quit worrying about the doctor's whiskers. There are some things a little more important going on right now. If 2 hours seem like a long time to wait to see a physician, just wait until you have to wait 2 weeks or 2 months!

Dr. Woodall is a great asset to the community and probably one reason I am still alive with type 1 diabetes for 20+ years. Thank God, my wife and Dr. Woodall.

We have been blessed with the best of a health care provider and a fine human being in Dr. Woodall. I credit him with saving my life and I didn't have to wait at all. In fact, He met us at the office in a very few minutes when the office wasn't even open. He even got there first. Congratulations! You're the man!

Your an idiot. Bush wasn't trying to fine everyone who couldn't afford health care either. Seriously some people need to read the bill before they comment.

The Government shoudln't force anyone to PURCHASE anything that they don't want. We should have an option and we won't have an option we are going to be forced. Then FINE ME if I don't have what you want me to have. But if I am an Illegal I get free health care.
