Its a shame that everytime I read something about the American Legion, all I can think of is the stuff that goes on there Thursday and some Saturday nights. I understand that the post needs money but PLEASE think of some other way of doing it. These club nights at the American Legions does nothing but bring shame to our hometown heroes.
Hey you idiot, they were talking about the American Legion. They hold college nights on Thursday and Saturdays. Ride through there sometime and see for yourself.
As a daughter of a Vietnam Vetern I am so glad to see this day come... My father was treated like crap when he came home from Vietnam along with all the others that came home too. They where called all kinds of names and it hurts me to think about what all they went through when they came home... Yes their day is due and I am so glad to see it come... GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN RETIRED AND ACTIVE!
thank you all for fighting for us and making our country free! I am privledged to be an American!!!!!
The Homecoming treatment of our Vietnam Vets is one of the embarrassing moments in this country. I clearly remember being horrified at people's actions when those brave and battle-scarred men were returning home.
I'm glad this day has finally come, but don't know why it's taken so many years.
I too am grateful for those who fight for us and who uphold our freedoms on a daily basis.
Thank you veterans and currently serving military members.
