Barnesville-Lamar County is the center of the kart racing universe this weekend as Georgia Sprint Karting Association's premiere vintage kart event is underway at Black Hills Circuit on Hwy. 36 West.

I was there Saturday and grew up down the road from it in it's heyday. I came up yesterday just as the twin engine carts were practicing(they they do 70+ down the backstretch) and I believe it.I recommend anyone stop by on a Sat. and check it out.
