If you want a very progressive tax, it is on the way in the form of a V.A.T. ( Value added tax that will hit the poor and those that are on Gov. Dependency the most, you got it!)
If you want a President that is bargaining with the security of this country and all who are in it,by volunteering to give up our only conventional advantage in our delivery systems, also running around and saying even if we are attacked, we would not retaliate with nukes, even if we were attacked by a nuke, a chemical, or bio. weapon , you got it!
If you want a president that will not let this country become energy independent, even when we have enough coal, oil, and natural gas to last for a hundred years or so, and would rather the poor and rich alike to pay way more for gas and power to their house, to let only those states that he needs their support to be able to drill off shore and be exempt from certain sweetheart deals on taxes where all do not pay equal, you got it!
If you want a president that thinks that it is ok to fine you and put the I.R.S. in charge of punishing you and your family for not buying the right kind of insurance THE GOV SAYS YOU MUST BUY, you got it!
If you want a president to put all of your personal, medical, and financial, imformation in a central computer that has every man woman and child in this country in it,for the purpose, if you owe any money to the Gov. the I.R.S. will be able to reach in your account at any time to take your wealth without your consent, They have said your tax refund will be seized, you got it!
If you want a president that will put the impreial federal Gov. between you and your Doctor when he or she recomends a procedure for you, the Gov. will have the final say if you get the treatment or not. NOT YOUR DOCTOR, you got it!
For all of you that think you are getting something for free, I do think you will have a rude awakening when all of the hidden rules come out and bite you right square in the shorts. Why do you think the President, Speaker of the House and the majority leader of the Senate,pushed this 2004 page law to members of the house and senate to pass without any, any, any,member having the time to read the damn thing. They did not want you to know what the DEMS. are going to do to you in the end run
Walter you need to study the fair tax and push it, and not just a progressive tax system. If you knew what was in it you would not say Progressive, because that will hurt the poor the most, and they are the ones that are bitching about this the most, because it is a faact that 60% of all households depend on the Gov. to keep them up either partial or total. We are on the verge of becomming a welfair country. Most people want something for nothing . THAT DOES NOT WORK.
The Republicans thank God for ignorant politions such as that DEM. Maxine Waters who thinks man landed on Mars and not the moon.
If you want a president that plans to steal your IRA's,401K's,and pension plans, you got it!
Have a little more umph to you and not take a 10 second sound bite you see on the idiot tube, and take it for gospel. Try and get into the truth and log in on askheritage.com . They deal in facts not lies and fiction. Been around for a long time. If you do not trust a private org. go to the congresional budget office and follow their figures. They just revised Obamas figures on employment because his facts were not correct. Try these two for starters and get away from the daily tube.
In the words of President Obama..."here's the thing"...if you don't like what's going on in America, move to another country. Isn't this the position of Rush Limbaugh, your conservative leader? He stated he will go to Canada to get his "medication"...too funny!...isn't he addicted to pain killers?
As for teapartiers and Sarah Palin, it's too bad your level of intelligence is not higher. Grassroot organizations still have a place in American democracy but when the intent is reduced to racial ramblings and spitting on people, it does a disservice to your own efforts. The slight increase in the spending slope we are on started in 2002 and is essentially at the same rate of increase. Put the years in back to 1980 and you can clearly see the upward tic started around 2002 and really got going around 2005.
If you are concerned about the deficit, it always peaks about 1-2 years after a recession or depression peaks, and with a 1-2 year lag during wars. This is because we mostly complete our taxes for the previous calender year in April of the following year, recessions take away tax money, and wars cost a fortune.

The real thing that has been eating us alive and will sink us is the trade deficit no one talks about. That is wealth that leaves our country for a foreign land, just like a war causes only worse.
How about some advice. Get facts before you vote. I don't mean to be harsh on you but you deserve it. You have a weak mind!
You talk about education, well all leadership has failed. Rather than increasing the education required for blacks, they have reduced education for whites giving the appearance education has bee equaled for the races.
Education is a complete failure for blacks as well as whites and all races in between.
