I stay over that way and I saw Barnesville PD and the Sheriffs office working that scene.....even saw Webster taking him out in handcuffs. Why not give them any of the credit? Whats your beef with Lamar County and City enforcement?
well maybe the wonderful judicial system we have wont give him 5 yrs probation and 5000 dollar fine. I get so tired of seeing that crap in the newspaper i dont know what to do. We are always going to have to feed and house inmates. Its better to do that than to let them continue to run the streets on probation and caring less if they get caught again.
Credit is given where credit is due by Walter and his team. Perhaps the reason Pike county law enforcement is mentioned is because the suspect and the theft ring were apprehended and taken down in PIKE COUNTY >>> Ya think? Also, the surrounding counties (including LAMAR) are clearly given credit for aiding in the efforts...You "Lamartians" (a new term I picked up from another poster on another thread) are as dumb as that word! Seriously, WTF, is that an extraterrestrial??? Or resident of Lamar county?
I hope this piece of sh@t rotes in jail. Honest people are out here working their a**es off to have nice things and some low life crack head comes along and steals it. I hope these two get gang raped in jail for the rest of their useless lives.
You know, the person who posted the first comment was very respectful in stating his/her opinion. The article does not state WHERE the subject was arrested and yet you resort to slandering this person and the people of this county. What does that say about you? You obviously are not from around here so what do you care? If you can't control your emotions then maybe you should find a new hobby.
I agree...Anna talks as if she's a yankee transplant. She can't help it, so let's not hold it against her. Especially, when someone is reared that way. Maybe, in time she will learn the value of good ole southern hospitality.
Congratulations to Pike for cracking the case. It's great to get problems like this off the street. I'm sure Barnesville will look into this guy and see if he is the one who was getting in cars along Zebulon and looking for stuff. My car was gone through by someone overnight. It is nice to read this stuff for free although I still subscribe to the paper. Nothing beats a portable news source and it helps my pets when I'm done with it.
When was this guy arrested? There was a man that came into the RE/MAX office around noon on Thursday asking for money because his car had been impounded and he looked just like this man except he had a plastic bag on his head.
I just really really want my comment posted in the paper next week. That is all. Now how do you go about doing it. Lets see. Maybe praise Walter for this site and the Herald-Gazette? Maybe the mere mention of Herald-Gazette? Maybe offering some good information regarding the "going-ons" in Lamar County?
Hmmm...I don't know. Begging usually works. Maybe the comment has to be a certain length so that it will fit in the column. Of course, if that is the case then maybe I have blown it as this comment may be to long.
Of course I will need to pick an appropriate Name that can be published so that everyone will know it is mine. Using my own would defeat the purpose of anonymity however. Of course, certain names may be offensive to some so I know that I couldn't use them as those names would never make it into the paper.
So here we go. The perfect comment to make it into the paper next week:
Walter thank you for this amazing site and the awesome job you and your staff do for the Herald-Gazette. I would like to congratulate the Sheriff's Department and all the participating agencies that help bag this arrest as the number of vehicle break-ins in the surrounding counties have crippled the communities. That, on top of the economical issues at hand, make this a refreshing arrest. Thanks again for everything everyone does everyday to protect our families and property.
Signed Bob
Hmm....Maybe I overlooked the fact that a perfect comment for the paper would also be considered on the time of the post. For the earlier in the week the comment is posted, it may have been forgotten about by print time. Maybe I should wait before I click the "Submit Comment" button...
just another example of an obammy supporter that wont give his new presidents' promise of change a chance to work. they just cant wait on the wealth distribution plan to go into effect. or, he's just reacting on instinct. either way it's someone elses fault...it's always someone elses fault.
If both of these guys have been arrested several times before, when the hell is the judges going to wake up and see that they are trash? I wish judges would hand out harsher punishment the first time around instead of a slap on the wrist. Maybe more criminals would not be so tempted to do it again!
Why does everyone want to blame someone rather than be thankful that this criminal is taken out of circulation?
I feel relief that this is done and everyone can breath easier for a while until some other persons takes the criminals place.
To the Yankees who seem to have all the answers, but not the questions, welcome south, learn politeness, it goes along way with the rest of us.

Just to set you straight, he was arrested in Barnesville. Maybe you need to be a little informed before you comment.
