Have you not noticed the economy lately? Some of these parents have lost jobs and are losing their homes. Then there are single parents that are doing everything that they can to fed their children and just can't seem to make ends meet. So before you make your rude coments about people put yourself in their shoes and just tink about what you would do or how you would feel if someone said that to you.
i have been in their shoes and it is too easy now to get free help . those that need it cant get it and those that dont deserve it do. i am not talking about those willing to work and have lost their jobs , i am talking about people getting checks to stay home before the bad economy
In reply to Melissa, I understand about people losing their jobs. That is a whole different story. There has been too many freebies in the last 20 years. That could be why things are so bad now. Those that work definitely need help if they loose their jobs.
We have to stop all of the free handouts and work together to help each other. I have seen people with cancer and other major problems apply for help and be turned down, just because one day they might be able to work.
I understand what you are saying and I agree. I know people that still have there job and work very hard and still can't make it. I just want people to see that when certain coments are made, or the way people look mat you when you do get the nerve to ask for help makes you feel bad, and makes you embarrased to seek the help that you need. Its just the sterotypes that people automaticlly assume that your are lazy and dont work, or want to work that makes me crazy. I do belive that the government should stop helping people that are not willing to help theirself.
The class cost 10.00. The car seats are apart of a grant. The class teaches the proper way to install and fit a child in the seat. This is a great program and has protected our children and prevented life threatening injuries. Please do not look at this as a handout, but as a handup.
