A rapper known as Yung Hott was shot and killed while making a music video in Griffin Saturday.
Four others, including a five-year-old girl, were hit by gunfire.

When comments are made that point out that fact, someone is sure to get on and start pointing fingers at racism as the cause.
It's not racism that points to more blacks committing crime. It's the facts. More facts include; blacks become defensive when these thuths are pointed out and rather than taking responsibility they point to other causes.
Perhaps they should take more active responsibility in cleaning up crime within their own race.
This is another classic scenario.
The death itself is bad for his parents and loved ones for their loss. Ok, that is out of the way.
However, I challenge each of you to go to youtube.com and search young hott and watch the videos and listen to the lyrics he sings about. Its all about murdering someone, shooting, pow pow pow pow, drugs, etc. This is absolutely rediculous. Some people would say, "its just entertainment". No, it really isnt JUST entertainment. Lots of these lyrics and diss songs are directed towards individual people specifically, groups of people, gangs, etc. It is a horrible negative impact for the community, and even this world for someone to carry on in such a way.
WHITE PEOPLE: listen to me. Just because you think your child is on the right track and everything is hunky dorey, if they listen to rap music, these are the types of lyrics they hear. I grew up listening to rap in my teenage years and still like SOME stuff. Everyone isnt a leader and are easily influenced. Your child hears this type of music. GUARANTEED!. I was out at the Lamar Rec Dept the other day and a bunch of Bradley Circle children were over there. The 6-10 year olds had worse of a mouth on them than the older ones did. Every other word was GD, MF, etc. I gurantee that every single one of these kids listen to rap music. Im not saying that white people do no wrong and dont cuss because they may listen to country or rock.
Bottom line is, this guy was a victim of his own lifestyle. He wants to be a gangster, so that is what comes with the territory.
There is no telling what kind of beef went on between this ignorant boy that got killed and the rest of the ignorant people that were involved.

His lifestyle wasnt a mistake. It was a decision that he made every morning when he got up and many more times throughout the day. Listen to the words in his songs. If he is "real" maybe the law enforcement needs to look into more of his past. They may find more important info that he should have been charged with.
On the other hand, what facts do you have that backs up the theory that half of computer users are child molesters and look at child porn all day.

When the police try to keep the rukus down such as going to huddle house to monitor a bunch of people that act like they escaped from the zoo, then the police is being racist. Im not exaggerating. I have been out there before when the crowd from the Crows nest has came there. It is complete chaos. There is no sense in a bunch of human beings acting any such way. Can you explain it?
Why dont you go to Giant Mart parking lot and see for yourself what goes on. Ill bet you a dollar to a doughnut that there are NO drugs up there. Usually the ones that are there are the "redneck" type and dont condone weed smoking or other drugs. Sure, they may drink a beer somewhere but the drug activity is almost non existant.

The population of blacks are much lower than white yet they commit three times or more the crimes. I don't know if you are a math wizard, but that detail alone elevates the percentages. Now, rather than addressing those facts, people like yourself prefer to make excuses for them and turn the attention away.

It sounds good coming from your end but that just isnt reality. I dont have a child that is up there. Im not even 30 years old. I know what im talking about. You go to the police and tell them that you know there is drugs up there and let them go search that crowd. You may find a beer or two but id be willing to bet my next paycheck that you wont find, weed, meth, crack or heroin up there. Many of the country boys look down on "pot heads". They dont hang with them and even may have conflicts with them at some point.
Most crimes committed in the USA are committed by black people. There is more than enough proof to back that statement. No one ever said that whites dont commit crimes. Look at prison populations. Call the surrounding counties and see what their ratio is that is locked up currently awaiting trial. Let me know how that turns out for you.

Racism isn't about the color of the skin, that's a fairytale that ignorants believe. The days of the KKK are gone, and today’s modern affairs shows that many now judge another by how the other acts, not by their skin color.

Black people were enslaved for hundreds of years in the US. The idea and mentality that white people are superior over black people, which allowed slavery to continue for that long, (a cause of the Civil War) is still somewhat alive today. Just read a few more posts on this blog to see that this is true. The ignorance did not die when Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.
Now, if a group of people are enslaved for hundreds of years and are then finally (reluctantly) given freedom by the people that enslaved them, there IS going to be a period of anger, resentment, VICTIMIZATION and fighting in order for black people to be recognized as human..let alone equal. It will take time to undo many years of arrogance, ignorance and hatred shown by slave masters and their decedents…it seems like we are still in this period of reconstruction.
There are many people still alive today that were involved in the Civil Rights Movement. The KKK probably came to visit them back in the day. Perhaps as a white person, you cannot relate to the fear those three letters bring to some people. Their children have heard the stories. Their children have been raised and influenced by people affected by discrimination. This is why slavery is so bad. It affects many subsequent generations in many different forms.
There are actions and then there are consequences. When society acts ignorantly by enslaving a group of people, they do not get to dictate how the consequences will play out.
Our decedents will also suffer the consequences of our current actions for many years to come..they will probably get to spend their summers swimming in oceans of oil as they breath toxic air and dodge nuclear missiles.
I also want to add that most serial killers and bankers are white.(see Bernie Madoff et al.)
Many many more people are affected by crimes commited by white criminals than black on black crime. Most white crime also goes unpunished (see government and corporations)

No one is saying that white people do not commit crimes. The majority however is a different story. I would venture to say that it is a 65/35 ratio black to white. It doesnt matter if it is non violent or violent they are still wayyyyyyyyyy in the lead. I have done my share of working in law enforcement and have witnessed things first hand, not just looking at the internet or tv.
So you’re saying it’s ok for colored people to sink to a lower level than the KKK who may or may not have tormented a distant relative of theirs that they have probably never even met?
Any person of color who resorts to violence as a means to exact revenge, makes them no better than those who wore the white hood.
My ancestors were treated way worse than those of color were; our race is almost dead thanks to the white man. Do I rant and rave about the injustice done to my ancestors? No, I never even knew them. I instead choose to take pride in my heritage as I hold my head high! I will NEVER sink the level of those who harmed my ancestors, never, I have too much pride running in my blood to do that, and people of color should have pride like that!
I find it baffling that persons of color, instead sink to that degrading level of resorting to acts of violence and words of anger….just because they feel they are victims….it’s sad. I bet none of them have ever had a whip across their back….and they do a great dishonor to their ancestors, to sink to the level of buffoon….the same level as those they profess to hate.

Well let me give you a little better insight. The KKK doesn't like anyone of any color unless they think like they do. And to be accepted you have to be white and think like they do.
There is much going on in the world today and many people of all races are getting tired of the way things are moving. Many whites have tried to change and put racism in the past. Too many blacks want to keep racism in the front and use it a a political tool to obtain advantages. Whites see through this and have lost faith in the government of creating equality within the races. They see government as using the condition to capture votes and keep themselves if office. Now whites are fed up with government and blacks, and which is founding a new kind of klan. And if you think the old KKK was bad, well keep an eye out for the new organization.
The victim mentality that SOME exhibit will continue if we do not first recognize there is a legitimate grievance and then let go of judgment. There are still racist people living in the south and there will continue to be people who feel victimized by it.
And I do not agree with your premise that 'colored' people (unintentional racist remark?) are acting worse than the KKK. That is hard to do.
Maybe one day people will see that white people are just as responsible for perpetuating this cycle as anyone else.
