watch how tha racists police heer in bville is like they treat us dis iz what we heeer haf to deal wiff all da time
Let's put all the cards on the table. They were following a couple of known drug dealers down the road. If they don't like the attention, maybe they should quit selling drugs.
Also, I love how "Bang Bang" is demanding they remove the pepper spray from his eye. What's the cop gonna do? "Okay, you yelled and cussed me, resisted arrest, I'm sorry little disrespectful ghetto thug, let me get that for you."
Police brutality is not pepper spray or forcing handcuffs, Police brutality would have been a beat down with their billy sticks, tasering him, or perhaps slamming him down on the car. These cops were doing their job.
It appears to me that you have a problem with black teens. In fact, you have a problem with black people in general. You Tea Baggers scream about the Constitution and free speech only when it's applied to Whites. Your a hypocrite and a coward and I'm surprised you know how to spell. Why don't you try arguing with an educated black man instead of teenagers that only now how to text message.
I live in Georgia and have seen enough racism and police injustice to know that this man's rights were violated and he was provoked. His lack of vocabulary is not an excuse for the police to violate his rights. If you Tea Baggers want to scream about OUR Constitution, then you may want to read it. It doesn't excuse Colored Folk anymore.
P.S. In this country, there is only one Flag and it's the American flag. If your a patriot then put up that Dukes of Hazard Relic. By the way, the Yankees won the war, you Rednecks need to get over it!!!!!!!!!!
As I stated before (and you didn't refute, so apparently you agree with this),the police were following a couple of known drug dealers down the road. If the kids don't like the attention, maybe they should quit selling drugs.
It sounds to me like you are jumping on the bandwagon because he's black. Who does that make the racist? Also, how do you know if I'm a Tea Bagger? Do you know my political affiliations, or are you just jumping to conclusions again?
You said " His lack of vocabulary is no excuse for the police to violate his rights." I'd like to rebutt your arguments here as well.
(1) He used profanity at a police officer (insulting a police officer is against the law). (2) He was resisting arrest. The police officers were probably more concerned with restraining him than reading him his rights. (3) The crowd around the arrest seemed to be on the verge of getting out of control, thus the officers probably wanted to get to a different location.
You are right, the Constitution doesn't exclude colored people anymore. Therefore, maybe those we are discussing should abide by the laws of the constitutions (both US and state). I don't think this was a case of racism. If so, the police would have taken more people into custody than this one idiot.
Finally, I want to address your comments about the Civil War. I didn't say anything about the Confederate battle flag, nor did I mention anything about the war. If you want to talk about flags and injustice, let's talk about the stars and stripes. Slavery was allowed uner it from the time it flew up until 1863 when Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. Slavery existed under the Confederacy for 5 years. You do the math. More acts of injustice, prejudice, racism, and violence towards minorities have been committed under the Stars and Stripes than the Confederate battle flag. Of course, you don't want to talk about that since it would counter your previous statements.
Also, I'm not a coward nor a hypocrite. If I were a coward, I wouldn't respond to you. I'm not a hypocrite because I refuse to change my belief system or what I have stated.
Legitimately you can argue that the young man was resisting arrest. And if he didn't move he wouldn't have been sprayed, but anyone with common sense will understand that this was not fair for those young teens. Disregarding stereotypes or manner, it is disrespectful and unprofessional on both sides.
Situations like these only provoke more events. Its a sad reality, but I would encourage everyone to seek positive change.
My daughter has a friend that lives in the city and they like to walk or ride bikes downtown. If a drug dealing - high on crack- no respect for police-looking for trouble and trying to show off for his friends THUG touches my baby, they will need to pepper spray me. There is a lot of danger that comes with Crowd-mentality. I thought the cops handled it well and there was NO brutality
Can't really assume who was right or wrong here unless it is made known WHY the police were following the kids.
That was typical of young blacks from what I have seen in the recent past. But if the parents taught them respect we wouldn't have the problem in the video.
Those people brought everything on themselves and deserve everything they got. If you want symphaty, look elsewhere. I don;t think they were harsh enough. I hope the one arrested is charged with resisting too.
When those boys act like ganstas they need to be treated like them. Of course they are probably too stupid to understand that.
The situation has to be controlled first. The person was explained why he was arrested and had his rights read to him. After control was established.
You knew that. You are just wanting to throw fuel on the fire.
Oh well, welcome to the South, love it or leave it, it is what it is.
Take it to court and see what happens.
Did you notice how the other thugs were surrounding the officers and getting near them. This isnt good and its a good way for these thugs to get shot. In other cities this could have turned ugly for the officers. Their guns were easily accessable for these idiotd to take hold of. The officer that was back up should have held the others at gun point and requested them to stay 30 ft away.
How can you accuse someone of being a racist when you clearly show that you are one yourself.
If this guy had been white you would have said nothing right?
That alone states why you said anything. I for one am
Tired of hearing people talk about how oppresses they are. Its the white people that can't get any help from the government.
I guess when you feel entitled or always playing the victim you will feel that everyone owes you. But no one owes you. Get off of your butt and get a job.
Get off trying to over-enforce speed limits, and get these thugs back in check. Go BPD!
If you are white, it's alright!
If you are black, we don't need your crack!
if the blacks are not happy being american then we should send them back to africa while we round up mexicans and send them back to mexico.
i'm all for a better america. if we have to take extreme measures to get it then so be it. let people like that be thugs somewhere else. if we are going to have a race war then lets do it and get it over with. if parents cant teach their children then the parents will morn their losses.
sign me
white and fed up!
I tried posting up a link but the moderators wouldnt let me. You go to youtube and search the "n" word day 08, so it should look like N^^^^A Day 08 and watch that video of people in barnesville acting such a way. That is completely embarrassing to me for people to see it knowing that these hoodlums are from barnesville. This is the future of the black society. Even some of the older black people in there have attitudes because "dem honkeys have buggy days". No wonder the youth act and think like they do. Look at the ignorant parent and what they bring into their childrens life. I didnt know that buggy days was a white festival. Last time i went there were people participating from all different walks of life.
Come out of the closet or get off you're drugs and realize that EVERYONE is racist.
Those that claim not to be are only hiding their true feelings.
Now sit back and try to figure out what causes this racism.
Videos like this make it obvious.
Personally I hate IGNORANCE
