By Walter Williams from The Macon Telegraph
Rand Paul of Kentucky, U.S. Senate hopeful, is caught up in a swirl of controversy in response to his comments on MSNBC’s "Rachel Maddow Show." He has been dishonestly accused of saying he thinks that private businesses have a right to discriminate against black people. Here’s a partial transcript of the pertinent question in the interview:
Maddow: "Do you think that a private business has a right to say, 'We don’t serve black people'?" To which Paul answered, "I’m not, I’m not, I’m not in … yeah … I’m not in favor of any discrimination of any form."
Walter E. Williams

I wish in my heart this man was President, and not the change you can believe in people. If this was the case our country would not be in the fix it is in. I am a white person that admires a black person. Can all of you prejudiced people-black, white, and all other races believe a person with no color, except from an occasional sunburn, support a person of color? Well it is so.
Dr. Williams argues with logic, and most of all, facts, and not pull numbers out of thin air, like so many politicians do now, just to win powerful positions, or keep power they are accustom to. He does his research first, and talks after, not before.
Another person of color that has the same ideals, and, is in the same category, is a person named Herman Cain. He ran for the Senate seat of Georgia, but lost to Johnny Isakson, for those of you that do not bother to keep up with your Senators. You people that will spout off and keep a closed mind, and try and tear this article apart, by spouting jibberish should take the time,do a little research on these people and may-be come away with a new perspective on politics, which a lot of you know absolutely nothing about.
One more person to check on is a person named Ken Hamlin--The Black Avenger. He is out of Colorado, but sadly I think he is retired. I can not find him anymore. I miss listening to him, which was every night. I learned a lot!!!
