Pike County sheriff's investigators are working an apparent homicide that occurred on Reid Road near the Lamar County line Friday afternoon. Pike coroner Terrell Moody was on the scene and left at 5:10 p.m. He confirmed the victim was a white male.
UPDATE: The Herald-Gazette has confirmed the victim lived on Ramah Church Road in Lamar County and was 29 or 30 years old. He did two previous prison terms for possession of methamphetamine.
