During the past week, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:
Dana Glynn Phillips, 48, Griffin, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;
Branden Jacob Wright, 20, Barnesville, possession of alcoholic beverage under age 21and criminal tresspass;
David Briant Nelson, 19, Griffin, serving time;
Fredrick Demond Lyons, 35, Griffin, DUI alcohol and tail light violation;
John M. Overstreet, 22, Forsyth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;
Stephen Minando, 54, Seaford, N.Y., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;
Quavious Antwoine Searcy, 19, Thomaston, possession of alcoholic beverage under age 21;
Jontavious Lequon Collier, 18, Griffin, consumption, purchase, furnishing or sale of alcoholic beverage under age;
Alexis Ceiara Brewer, 21, LaGrange, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine;
Jalisa Vernae Daniel, 20, Thomaston, possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine;
Solita Shuntae Mitchell, 20, Barnesville, DUI alcohol and weaving over roadway;
Lewis Jackson Flournoy, 49, Thomaston, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, weaving over roadway, and windshield or window tint or crack violation;
William T. Farley, 24, Zebulon, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, carrying a concealed weapon and no seat belt;
Tony Smith, 50, Thomaston, weaving over roadway, DUI alcohol and other charges;
Benjamin Matthew Reece, 39, Milner, driving while license suspended or revoked and DUI alcohol;
Teresa Cheryl Hancock, 50, Jackson, giving false name or information to police;
Gordon Randolph Hicks, 53, Lithonia, DUI drugs;
Raymond Lee Eubanks, 38, Thomaston, speeding and other charges;
Brandon Jamar Bunkley, 21, Barnesville, serving time;
Christopher Martin Stepanski, 25, Barnesville, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, hit and run or leaving the scene of an accident, other charges and windshield or window tint or crack violation;
David Blake Crews, 41, Barnesville, serving time;
Stephanie Nicole Bell, 24, Milner, family violence battery;
Justin Dwight Pharr, 20, Crestview, Fla., theft by taking;
Jimmy Lewis Goodman Jr., 36, Griffin, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by taking, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission or attempt to commit a crime and burglary;
George Frank Herring, 52, Houstonville, Ky., possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and other charges;
Jimmy Lee Griffin, 45, Houstonville, Ky., VGCSA and other charges;
Jimmy Mirron Coe, 39, The Rock, improper license or tag, driving while license suspended or revoked, open container, no insurance and theft by deception;
Christopher Lamar Sullivan, 21, Griffin, serving time.
Deputies answered 149 calls and the 911 center answered 91. Deputies responded to 33 calls, the Barnesville police department to 21, Lamar firefighters to 29, the Barnesville fire department to four and Mid Georgia Ambulance Service to 48. There were 11 accidents. Deputies issued 70 traffic citations and served 24 warrants and 26 subpoenas or civil papers.

There is way more to the JB story. I speak to both ex and current sheriffs when I see them reguardless but I have heard many many many horror stories from people on the inside that would die if i ever mentioned their names and what they said about the way things were when Buice was in office. They said they just walked on egg shells just to keep their job but it was horrible. ( not die literally but you know what i mean).
