Advance voting off to slow start
An average of just over 10 people per day have thus far taken advantage of advance voting in the July 20 general primary.

Please study the people you put in charge of us, and watch for wolves in sheep's clothing, and people that change politics for a quick victory. Study their past, and you will know what they will bring to the future.

I'd still like to know why a vehicle with Lamar County Govt stickers on the doors and "Re-Elect George Brown" stickers all over it was parked in the library parking lot directly across from the early polling site last week.

Probably because it is Mr. Brown's persoanl vehicle. The government stickers says something like " Lamar County Commissioner". And it can't be seen when you go in Administration building to vote, nor when you are voting.
