Between Saturday, June 5, and Friday, June 11, the Barnesville police department made three arrests:
Matthew Driskell, 858 Ingram Rd., Barnesville, reckless driving;
 Roberto Gutierrez, 367 Brent Rd., Barnesville, reckless driving;
Geraldine Jones, 503 Gordon Rd., Barnesville, disorderly conduct.
Officers answered 83 calls for service including seven accidents, six alarms, one EMS assist, one fire department assist, 11 building security checks, one burglary, one crowd control, two damage to property, seven disturbances, two dog complaints, three domestics, 11 escorts, two fights, one forgery, one gas drive-off, three juvenile complaints, seven miscellaneous, five noise complaints, one shoplifting, two shots fired, one stolen vehicle and seven suspicious persons/vehicles. They issued eight citations including one disorderly conduct, three seat belt violations, six speeding, two theft by shoplifting and one driving wrong way on a one way street.

Its about time the Driskell boy and the El Durango boy got busted for their stunts in their trucks. They have the loudest pipes in the world and race throughout barnesville acting like a bunch of idiots. The BPD should pull these boys over every time they see them out on the road revving up their engines.

Teenagers that have loud cars and trucks are supposed to show them off. College drive was designed for that specific purpose. You can't pimp a Prius!

I don't think driving loud trucks counts as "reckless driving". Since when did they start arresting people for things like this? I think the officer who saw them was trying to make an example out of them. He then had to call BPD because they were in the city limits and he wasn't a city cop. It's pretty much his word against theirs. Just looking for revenue - I think so!

no its not reckless to drive a loud truck BUT to drive a loud truck like the driskell boy does IS reckless.i have seen him numerous times speeding through town and revving his engine like he was about to lay drag

Loud trucks are reckless. Leaving a red light on two wheels, taking corners on two wheels, and flooring the truck doing all it has IS reckless driving. Now a noise violation is in place if a certain decible is reached.

Hey queer. They can arrest them too or give them a ticket for a noise violation. How are you gonna say " your just made because...." what are you talking about. I dont have a raggy caprice or do i have a redneck loud ass truck. I am white as white can be. I act civilized and go to work, pay my bills, take care of my family and do it all again. All that other foolishness is obsurd. You all arent the only ones that do it. Youre just the ones that got caught.
