GC plaza plans complete

Construction plans for the Military Memorial Plaza were completed last week by architect Bob Smith of Watkinsville. The plaza, to be built on the Gordon campus along College Drive in front of Alumni Military Hall, honors Gordon’s military past and its future.

Being an alumni of Gordon Military College, I really hope this memorial is shown respect as it deserves, and not to be used as a ashtray for some of the students I have observed while riding by the College.
I do hope the students of today will realize without the people that have put their life on the line, they would not have the future, and opportunities they have today, or the ones they have come to expect for tomorrow.

To bad Barnesville doesn't do this. Pot holes need patched tho.
Glad Gordon is making it happen. If Gordon left town, Barneyville would dry up more than it it is.

Not bad. New ROTC. Reserve Officers' Training Corps "Army, Naval, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Firefighter and Law Enforcement".
