Local businessman and school board candidate Danny Turner has been hospitalized after an apparent heart attack.

Thanks for all of your prayers and get well wishes. According to his doctor, Danny had 2 heart attacks and 2 stints were put in. He is resting and doing well.

This may sound odd at this time, but I'm speaking as a family member of someone who had heart trouble also.
All I can think sometimes is that we're so lucky to be living in this time when medicine is as advanced as it is.
Mr. Turner, best wishes for a speedy recovery. You have a community behind you here.

Danny, I read this and just didn't know what to say openly about it. Often I wonder if things like this happen for a reason in that it gives you a second chance to look at some things differently. Who knows? Having a heart attack and surviving is a gift from God. Ask Him to show you the reason.

Ruthie and I both hope you are well and back on your feet real soon. If you or family needs anything please have your family call. Same to your mom and dad cause I know they are with you. We will pray for you and for a speedy recovery.
