I hope the owner finds the dog.
In a slightly related/ unrelated bit of info, there is a dog across the street from me that has been left behind when the owners left their house. They did leave a large shed in the back yard open with food, water, and shelter for the dog.
It's a male black lab and the owner does come by to feed and water him, but he's lonely and getting more scared by the week.
The owner has put a listing on craigslist, I hear, but this poor dog needs a home.
The folks at the Herald-Gazette can get a message to me if you're interested in this dog. I can, in return, reach the owner's son.
With these storms lately, I can't even imagine how hard this is for the dog.

I DONT KNOW IF IT WOULD HELP OR NOT BUT THERE HAS BEEN A PACK OF DOGS HANGING AROUND INDIAN TRAIL AND ONE LOOKS LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE GOOD LUCK FINGING THIS SWEET LOOKING DOG
have you checked the local animal control... even if you call they won't give you any useful information... your best bet is to go there and check for yourself... i live in the cannafax rd area so i will definitely keep an eye out for her... i have a lab mix myself and they are great companions and couldn't imagine the suffering you are going through right now
It has been pretty terrible.. I am six months pregnant and I am losing weight.. I feel so responsible and I just can't bare the thought of her being hurt somewhere. I have to find her!
INDIAN TRAIL IS AT THE TOWILIGA HOUSING AUTHORITY ON ZEBULON RD AFTER YOU GO UNDER THE BRIDGE THERE IS AN ACCESS RD THE NEXT RD IS BETWEEN TWO HOUSES THAT IS INDIAN TRAIL
I have a 6 month old male black lab that I rescued from Walmart. He is so sweet and does not bark. I would be honored if you would like to have him. He is not the same as your missing dog, but he could act as a bandaid till you fell in love with him.
Thanks everyone! We still have not found her.. I have been checking at the Spalding and Lamar pound. We currently have a beagle and we have a baby on the way so we are going to hold off on getting another dog, hoping Chloe will make her way home..
Thanks for all the searching and support, it is much appreciated!
If we were to get another dog, we would surely go to the pound. That place could use some love!
There is a dog that looks just like this one hanging around Park Place. I've saw him for about 1-2 weeks roaming the area. He's between Park Place and The Activity Center. I saw him today around 6:15pm in my yard.
Maybe you should come look and see if that's him one day this week. He has white spots on his chest. I believe that this is the dog that you are looking for.
I will surely check it out! But she does not have any white on her chest.. She was missing some fur due to allergies so maybe it appears to be white??? Thanks for the tip!
I came and saw a little black puppy and a dog with a collar on that was black.. The dog you are seeing, is there a collar?
If no collar, could you please call me at 727/687-3328 and I will come when you have spotted her again...??? She did not have a collar on and she has some white on her tail and back legs but none on her chest. She may still be missing hair on her chest from allergies so it could appear white.

I'm not totally sure if it's your dog or not. It fits the descriptions though.

I saw it yesterday up the road though.
