Very interesting, especially coming from an atheist. Much of what he said is true and much of what he said can also be said about Christianity. What his comments don’t address is the source of the money used to fund the atrocities committed by a subjective bunch of religious lunatics. Following the money is where our attention should be directed. There will always be those who embrace “an unshakeable faith” and there will unfortunately always be those who exploit that faith for their own gain. Faith that is not a struggle is not faith and “unshakable faith” is an oxymoron. One’s God is determined by what questions you ask when you pray and not by the name you happen to give it.
would a hot dog vendor outside this mosque be prohibited, frowned upon, looked at as insensitive?
could he sell ham sandwiches there to people passing by?
could a local brewery move in next door?
a christian bookstore or church across the street?
a bar-b-que restaurant that happened to blow the aroma of fresh pork fat drippings from it's chimney down the street and into thier windows?
what about a strip club directly across from the front door?
I think the money trail should be made public. Every Politician, should be accountable for these names, and bear consequencies from the electorate. I object to this venture, and think it should be stopped.
We have become a bunch of panty waist patsies. The hell with political correctness, what's right is right and what's wrong is wrong, and this is WRONG people !
What ever it takes this building must be stopped.
