Accused killer Jennifer Clark has been granted a change of venue, moving her trial out of Lamar County.

Oh, good. When someone is arrested for killing Donna, that case will be granted a change of venue as well.

We will need that in the Donna case.

They want to blame Geiger because he brings out facts. They should go on and move Donna's case to another county now because they will use that excuse. It will be better anyway "in Donna's defense" because Milam would "sandbag" to lose on purpose, to prove his point. We don't care which Grand Jury...we just want the case to be processed. Jimmy and Becky are sick of waiting, I guarantee you. They want this solved more than all other citizens. How would the DA feel if someone done this to their wife or sister.

I think the public defender needs to shut up. The public defender is only lookin for ways to bill Lamar County for items I believe she has suggested to the defendant. I fail to believe the defendent has the capacity to think of these things.

This article was about the Clark trial being moved to Butts. How did you jump to the Johnson case, where there hasn't even been an arrest made. Tell all the other voices in your little brain to focus on the article that you are responding to. And I don't think anyone is going to "blame” Walter for testifying about how many people buy the paper and read it on line. This information is being used to show that an unbiased jury pool probably wouldn't be found in Lamar County.

I'm not surprised the trial has been moved.
Clark is entitled to the fairest jury pool she can get, and that won't happen here.
Another county is just as capable of convicting her as Lamar county is.
Hoping HG will be there during the trial to keep us up to speed every step of the way.

You have to factor in the love Walter has for Buice. He kept him in the paper when he was in office and even now that he is no longer sheriff. It has nothing to do with cover up. Waller isnt a glory hound and could care less if his face is plastered all over the HG.

I guess it would be correct to say that every case should be shifted to another county to get a fair jury pool, right? We may need to move them to the moon since we have the World Wide Web now. Just because so many elected officials are being kicked to the curb, don't blame the jury pool. But I bet Judge Tommy Wison had a celebratory drink to be rid of her. Cheers Tommy!

Knowing the facts and thinking you know everything is a big difference. As far as Clark, I think she needs to be put under the jail. I just hope the case was handeled correctly. There were so many screw ups a few years ago.

Why should she deserve a fair hearing this is all a waist of tax payers money. Donald didnt get the fair right to live, she took that away from him. I feel for the family in this case because it has gone on for way to long. Things should be handle like they did back in the old days. Hang her ... from a tree and be done with it

the prison in Jackson is a men's prison, and even though this defendant is quite mannish, she will first go to Metro State Prison in Atlanta...now you know & knowing is half the battle.

You are a moron Sheila Tolley...as previously stated Judge Thomas H. Wilson is the Chief Superior Court Judge for Butts, Lamar and Monroe counties. Changing the venue to Butts county only means that the citizens of Lamar county will not be able to decide upon her guilt or innocence. The Judge, and State prosecutors remain the same. They will ensure that she receives a fair trial so that Lamar County does not have to pay to try her a 2nd time. Now that you have been schooled, I do not expect you to make these idiotic mistakes again.
