I've never heard of another mismanaged county like this one. Employees do what they want, say what they want, and run the show. When they get caught no one does anything and some of them even stay hired or get rehired. Starts at the top.
Why is this woman not in jail? She is a thief. Plain and simple. And she needs to be treated as one. If she was a copper thief she would be sitting her butt in jail. Maybe those at the top are afraid she might tell something they dont want to come out. This county needs some big changes made. Starting at the top.
Taxpayers this is my money and your money, why is she not in jail? why did the county auditor catch this, and how much is she paid not to find this error? We deserve an answer Mr Patterson and Matthews.
i bet if she would have gave all the others a raise everybody would have kept there mouth shut and it would be business as usual the good ole boy system aint it great ........
I understand that 1.3 million is missing from our county funds (our tax money) ... I also understand that this payroll thief has threatened to take others down with her is she is prosecuted. Can this be true?????
Maybe it is time for Lamar county citizens to take this matter in hand. It can be done. She needs to pay money back and go to jail. It has happened in other counties and they pay for the CRIME they committed. This is a prime example of money shortages and no one to stand up for us and do what is right!
"Ellerby has not provided restitution plan" So if I rob a bank in B'ville and get caught then I'll be given the opportunity to repay the money before being arrested or going to jail?
And it wasn't discovered until "Our man on the scene" Walter Geiger requested the information. I think this will get him the Pulitzer he's been working so hard for all these years.
If you did, you do not have the authority to act on behalf of the voters of Lamar County.
Come on. Quit playing around with Ellerby and prosecute her for violation of her oath of office.
