A vigil held in honor of murder victim Donna Ogletree Johnson drew a crowd of about 150 people to the Lamar County courthouse Sunday afternoon.

Those in attendance prayed for closure for the family and signed balloons which were released in Donna's memory.

No, it's a shame that people like you don't want to see justice served. She didn't "pass away", she was murdered you moron. I'm quite sure that the pursuit of justice in this murder is not bothering her in the least. Maybe you should have a living will that reads....'If I should be killed or just disappear, DON'T try to figure it out. Just leave it alone and let me rest in peace'. Psstt....you're a real winner. We will not let her murder go, because she deserves better than that. Maybe you should pray before you sit at your computer.

SHE DID NOT PASS AWAY, YOU IDIOT! People who pass away go peacefully, in many cases, and gladly in other cases. DONNA was brutally murdered. She will rest in Peace when the judicial system starts practicing justice. It may be a while before an honest person is elected, or hopefully re-elected. I hope when Karma brings her BIG Truck of justice around, she has a big gift for you. Now take your ugly attitude to a place where they appreciate and practice lawlessness and injustice. Go to the courthouse.

After meeting you, I called my son. I said, "She has got the prettiest blue eyes in the world, but I just cannot remember her." He said, "Mama, Linda's son was one of my best childhood friends...his name is Eric." So, now I remember Linda, the gift was a gown for you. Please tell Eric that Darrell Tomlin sends a big hello to him and a hug to you. The vigil was so good and I am so glad I had my memory refreshed. You take care.

How do you know that Jimmy and Jam are not praying for this to be solved? Just because they did not attend does not mean they don't are not praying. I know Jimmy and Jan personally and know that they would love for this to be solved for Donna's sake as well as her family's sake and their sake.

If I heard a loose cannon was trying to pin something on me, I would definately hire adequate counsel to advise me also. And I was just a little kid when this happened.

Not saying the guy did or didn't do anything, but I do know that intelligent people will have an attorney present if law enforcement is investigating them, or is wanting to question them. Remember, any statement you make to law enforcement can and most likely will be used against you, regardless of your guilt or innocence.

The lady is over every Huddle House in the United States, so I told her if I remembered your name correctly, it was Pearline. So I hope you was honest about your name. I cant believe some of the words used in these blogs.If it was my sister ,my daughter or any family or friend, I would be appalled.It doesn't matter how many times this was in the paper or a conversation in a restaurant Donna was a person ,made by God ,loved by her family and friends. I wonder who complained, because Waller told me on the phone that he does not read the newspapers. That is what I like about The Herald Gazette. When they make a mistake, they correct it and put the correction "right out there for all to see."
