The dorms at Gordon are full of thugs just like him. They are into drugs and guns and never go to class. They come down here for a one-year vacation then go back to the hood and go on welfare. They don't even by textbooks.
It's just a matter of time before they kill someone.
Is that really a fair assessment? The dorms are full of thugs? Really? You describe the dorms as if they are film locations for a NYC cop drama. They never go to class yet somehow manage to stay in school for a full year? I mean you did say they come for a one-year vacation. So either the professors don't grade accurately, the administration allows anyone to cruise through, or your assessment is a bit one-sided - perhaps jaded - and unfair. Perhaps they don't all get to purchase textbooks because of the expense? I am not defending them nor their behavior at Gordon. I don't go there and don't know how the student body is. However, I feel as if you really passed judgement and spoke way out of turn.
By the way, the image is not of a killer. He killed no one. So, be careful whom you suggest may be a ticking time bomb.
College policy say's that you can't move into the Dorm if you have "any" type of criminal record. I thought you might want to know this so you can revisit your statment.
Sweeping generalizations are made by us all at one time or another. That does not make them right. I will be the first to say that I am guilty of doing so and I am pleased that many of you catch them and call me on them. That is what makes us a stronger community; working together.
I also make sweeping generalizations. When I read something that really strikes a nerve or at a time of frustration is when it usually happens. I for the most part, I know when I’m doing it, because something inside just doesn’t feel right. When that happens, I should just shut up, breath and give it some time, so that I can address it later without any future regret.
"CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS". Break in my house and we are even!....and deer season is out....my finger is itchin'! I want to smell the gunpowder again! I want to hear the sounds. The shot. The body hitting the floor. The last bit of air out of a worthless body escaping. what a rush!
i know both of these guys and they are not dangerous. Tristan is very sweet and Jamison Webley is the most sweetiest guy i ever met. Yall dont even know the situation so dont be quick to judge...i love u Jay and im praying for u boo...
who is "them" look let me break it down like this... No matter how "you" put it "WE" are here to stay. "Y'all" can hate it or love it cause aint nobody scared it's whatever!! And for the record White people do as much dirt as Black people they just dont get caught as much cause half of them work for the police or half of them are the police.
i know exactly where tristian is and he is on vacation in london, england. and if you knew him u will know that he had a rough life he is the only one in his family to even graduate from high school. barnesville has been a step back in his his life. since he was down there he has been accused of selling drugs, rape, a drive by shoting and now this. he calls me everyday and we pray together I know he has a good heart and if you knew him you would know the same. i truly believe he is not gulity. all the comments i have seen has been of people that just like to hear themselves talk. but i know he has god on his side and with him he cant not fail he made it through all the other issues i know god will bring him through this. as for jamison he has to to deal with the consequences of his action i know the whole story i heard it from both tristian and jamison and my conclusion is that they already have the person responsible they need to deal with him accordingly and let my baby live his life cuz he wasnt even there. thank you for your time and instead of talkin bad about him he needs your support so pray for him as i am. also armed and dangerous is a little over board tristian dont even like guns.... i know tristian has help many people in barnesville yall need to speak up and tell the police exactly what type of peson he is
WELL I JUST WANT TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW THAT BARNESVILLE COMMONS IS NOW UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND TWO DEPUTIES LIVE THERE SO DONT THINK THAT YOUR CRIME WILL CONTINUE THERE CAUSE IT WON'T!!!!!!
Ah the poor baby. He must always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nest time he calls you tell him he needs to the right thing and turn himself in. Thats what Jesus would do.
i have known both of these guys for a long time. Ever since they came to Barnesville, they have done nothing but enjoy the college life like much of us did. I blame all the crime on the city in which this great college is located. There is nothing for college kids to do but party and go to school. If the tightwads downtown would give the kids someplace to hang out we wouldn't have to look for things to do. My prayers and thoughts are with you both.
While I disagree with blaming the city for the actual crime(s) I do agree with you that the city could do MUCH more in terms of integrating college life into Barnesville proper.
I am thinking of tax incentives to businesses that build within a certain perimeter, business hours that give students time to actually visit the business, etc.
so, you're saying since there was no social outlet that suited these guys, it is ok for them to pistol whip innocent victims and go into the home invasion business?
nobody said it was ok, i said i blame the motivation to do the crime. Is it that hard to understand even for a seasoned writer such as yourself? all i was saying was if there were more places for us to hang out there would be less people on the street.
My apologies. I misunderstood you then. I understood you to say that because there was little for college kids to do, crime was a suitable alternative. But, I was wrong. You were saying the motivation for crime was lack of anything more compelling to do. Yes, sometimes when I am bored and TV sucks and I have little else to do I like to go out and deal crack or rob a convenient store. It certainly passes the time for me. Why would I want to just visit with friends or pick up a hobby or play tennis or something of that nature? Crime is clearly a viable alternative.
There is something for everyone to do in Barnesville, and in every other town. Rent a movie, stick a bag of popcorn in the microwave, kick back in your Lazy Boy, and enjoy! Toss down a cold one if you want! Short of that, try GROWING UP! When I was that age, there wasn't that much to do then either. I still didn't have to pistol whip someone to pass the time. Sooner or later, and preferably sooner, we all have to learn to grow up and move forward with our lives. Crime ain't the way.
well crime seems to be the way in Barnesville. At least now anyway... a former room mateof mine was shot dead on his porch. drive-bys at teh college... and teh list goes on. Maybe the same people who want to pass judgement should bring in to question the police in barnesville. My friend got jumpped in he huddle house parking lot and the cops took him to jail. just maybe the police dept. needs to be overhauled not teh town.
What is wrong with yall an innocent man is being falsely accused and exploited as a criminal no one deserves to get pistol whip but a innocent man doesnt deserve to go to jail
i agree i was robbed at gun point in barnesville last year. i was innocent the guy who robbed me was did he get caught? NOPE! let the innocent walk put the guilty away. It probably wasn't even a robbery, most likely a drunken fight. I know t.j. and j and they like to party so does everybody else in town. stuff happens
It's just a matter of time before they kill someone.
By the way, the image is not of a killer. He killed no one. So, be careful whom you suggest may be a ticking time bomb.

that is about the dumbest post ever!
