Gov. Sonny Perdue, like so many public officials before him, has refused to intervene in the Donna Johnson murder case.
The case has gone unsolved for over 26 years.
Murder victim Donna Johnson

Something to keep in mind, this is something that happened over 25 years ago, and it is being reported over and over here like it just happened. While it is tragic, it is not "news" anymore.

Dear Ms. Tolley:
Thank you for writing to make me aware of the case of Donna Ogletree Johnson. As Governor, I value input from Georgia's citizens and appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with me.
Unfortunately, this is a matter under local jurisdiction and I am unable to intervene. If you have not done so already, I would encourage you to contact your district attorney or judge of the Superior Court to request assistance with this problem.
I regret that I cannot help you further. I hope you will be able to resolve this situation and that you understand the limitation of my authority in such matters.
Dear Mr. Perdue,
I appreciate your graciousness in sending me your form letter. I also thank you for sending the same one to many of my friends. It shows exactly how much you value the input from Georgia citizens. The local jurisdiction "sucks" which is the reason I wrote to our (Thank you, Jesus) departing Governor. We do not have a District Attorney, we have a Plea Bargainer. Please find the money in your budget to send him, Richard Milam, a chair. He has been sitting on Donna's case files so long that his buttocks are flat.
Yes indeed, I do understand you are powerless. Perhaps our new Governor will be a better Deal and not restricted by your limitations.
Enjoy your future, if you should ever run for Governor of Georgia again, I wish you the luck of Roy Barnes. I would encourage you to contact voters who "give a ----" about you needing votes. I hope your future is as fruitful as our search has been for justice in the brutal murder of Donna Ogletree Johnson.
Just,
A Taxpaying Voter,
Sheila Tolley
P.S. I look forward to your next form letter but not as much as I do a new Deal.

Dear Ms. Tolley:
Thank you for a responding letter. While I do care about the Georgia public, it is hard to take you seriously. Using words like "suck" and making jokes trying to get your point across is the reason for my response to begin with. It is obvious that while you may have good intentions at heart, you will never make it further than internet blogging.
The case of Donna Johnson is in fact heart breaking. However, what exactly do you want me to do about it? Sure I have watched a few episodes of CSI and Forensic Files, but I'm still incapable of reviewing any evidence. To my understanding your local law enforcement agencies have taken appropriate actions in solving the case. The GBI has also been assisting in the investigations. Honestly, me ordering the GBI to get involved is probably the best I could have done anyways. Looks like my job this time was easy enough.
I would ask now that you kindly quit sending me your disorganized letters full of satire jokes. While a "Better Deal" is coming soon, I do still have a state to run. I just hope this better Deal will bring "Change we can believe in".
With respect,
Still Governor Sonny Perdue
Good work tolley, cats, buice, the newspaper man, and the other frequent commenters for making people sick of hearing about, and also for your influence in making a mockery out of this unfortunate incident.
You wanted attention, you got it. Name recognition and all.
If buice really knew who did it, he could have taken out warrants for his suspect. So why didn't he do that?
Then again, it is hard taking you serious at all.
Run along now.....you have pleas to deal.
Get with the program. If you knew anything at all, you would know that YOUR HONORABLE Governor has been informed of the facts. He even got a free biscuit the last time he visited our little Plea Town and allowed Becky a few minutes of his precious tax paid time. Then he is STUPID enough to thank me for informing of the murder. As he slithers on down from the Governors' mansion to his stolen via of political position, land... why don't you go and shed your skin also and come back with a new attitude.
Bye now...My Love
Why is Milam afraid to let a Grand Jury see the facts? Sheriff Waller told me on the phone he had considered it. Why did he change his mind? More pay off possibly?
Hi cats.
I hope that mystery keeps you up at night.
To Milam and Waller:
Watch your enemies close and your friends closer.
much about generations past. The good and bad of people. The names of addicts, dealers, crooked shenanigans, etc. Did I mention that Marvin (Bubba) Goldman is my nephew? That will give a few people something to think about, huh? He has passed now, even copperhead snakes placed under the cover in his bed cannot hurt him.
I told you people like to tell facts on their deathbeds. Yeah, I know a lot of answers. Patience is a virtue.
Just like Columbo.....I just have one more question........it is better to know than to tell, until the time is right.
Ain't that right, Larry?
What's one woman or her dogs mean compared to 100 votes?
If you act socially as you do on the blogs, you are a true imbecile. Your comments lack wit, humor, or knowledge. Perhaps you did come from the ghetto with an uneducated family, but excuses are gone in these new days of opportunity.
Grow up and make a positive life for yourself.
At least give Huddle House a chance at being profitable and stop tossing their name into your worthless drivel and threats.
