Two of the four suspects in an alleged drug distribution ring busted here Saturday were in magistrate court this morning for a first appearance hearing that was abruptly postponed.

Oh my God they are at it again. Please give these people a hearing stop treating them like that. You guys have not wasted any time reporting this. Have you all reported that the man that got killed on Grove street was drug related. Please people just let this be a learning experience and pray for these people. If you are still out there involved in drugs please stop and let this be a lesson. Good things do not last forever, and these people are innocent until proven guilty. I dont care what they so called ceased at the house. We are busy looking at all the negative things, this man risked his life to save others for a living. Not to mention Shemika is a honor student, and his mom and dad are nice productive citizens of Lamar Co. Whether you think his family was aware of whats going on or not, I am pretty sure that they were not involved in that nonsense. Please give these people a break and lets just Pray. Pray for the family because I read the other blogs and most of you all are being down right ignorant.
God will judge last. Right now their gonna be judged down here for pushing drugs, running drugs, doing drugs, eatin' drugs, smokin' drugs...if it can be done to a drug they did it!
Have you not looked at all of the coverage of the grove st murder? The WHITE guys picture is plastered on this blog. Its all over this website. There is hundreds of comments about it. So just because a black family was arrested, dont cry racism. Its bullshit! The coverage is no different.
I will be praying for this guy too.. praying that he gets what he deserves. And you cant tell me the family or the girlfriend knew nothing about what was going on...blow that smoke up someone eleses ass. Saving lives??? Guess that job was a cover up for the dope ring. Wonder how many lives have been destroyed by the dope he has put on the streets. No sympathy here.
Ignorance is spreading like a California wild fire. Keep in ming that these people have family and friends. If you have an ounce of common sense, try to use it and keep your mouth closed.
Shemika is a good girl, just got caught up with the wrong ppl. I do not feel like the guy's parents knew what was going on, maybe they will not be charged with anything (the parents). Anybody selling any kind of drugs I have no sympathy for nor do I have any respect for them, always trying to obtain the fast way. Any thing in life worth having is worth working for and waiting for. What may seem good at first will prove to be a bad decision in the end.
What do you mean? Do you think that they should have thought about their family and friends before they were caught? I doubt it. Why should I care? They certainly didnt. If you dont want your feelings hurt, stay off of this blog. Just a suggestion.
Whatever!!! You people seem to think if its white its right and sorry to tell you guys you are dead wrong. Innocent until proven guilty. Bust up some of these meth labs. Everybody worrying about the wrong thing. So what he got caught he will have to deal with it. Until then shut up. Greenhouses are made to grow flowers not marijuana. Let's bring that up my white people.
we get too confortable with things we do in life.
Sometimes we think that we can't be touched. Well
my friends nothing lasts forever. Watch many more will fall. Silence and loyalty last as long as a ICE Cream in the Summer. A deal will be offered and OTHERS will go down
Oh my god. You people are so dam stupid. who do you think these drugs come from. Not black man.Dont judge anybody, because only one man can judge and thats the man upstairs.Everybody in the world commits sin.I dont think nobody is perfect.what if that was one of your family member, would you say it then.just pray for the people everybody make mistakes.Yes he did save lives, and no one take that from him.if a person choose to do drugs thats them. You never know what kind of pain they may be in or their situation. The only thing I can say only judge yourself and no one else. Let no man put us under. What you people think about all these corrept cops.they steal money and sell drugs too.what always happen to the drug money and drugs that always come missing.
Oh so what have you did wrong in life.nothing i guess but blog. You might be mad that you couldnt sell drugs. Hell you might be on them. They may be judge here but only god will get the the last word not the jury of the judge. Prayer answers alot things.dont be stupid just pray you might be next or someone in your family may be next.
How would you even know what is done with drug money or if drugs were missing....you dont know. You are the stupid one. Name one cop that you know that is selling drugs...put up or shut up.
why dont ppl get over that black and white shit we all bleed the same color blood cause black and white do wrong some get caught and some dont thats whats wrong with lamar county now quick to judge ppl so if you are black are white you are no better then the next think about what you did a year ago and didnt get caught
I think that you are the stupid one.Drug money get missing everyday and every hour.I wonder what happen to all the drug money the cops in griffin stole. I wonder? hell you might be a cop stealing money dont get mad. dumb ass.
You better think first time offenders will never suffer. You must be white not right. All these meth labs out here, and you want to judge one man come on now. Look at yourself before judging others.
I doesn’t matter what color they are. They got caught with dope and they need to be punished. That fire fighter has been giving the Spalding county S.O. trouble for a long time. He needs to be in jail. I wish everyone would stop saying “only god can judge you”. If you break the law you still have to be punished down here. God will inflict his punishment on them later. All of you people who keep saying “go bust white people” did you forget about the HUDGE meth lab the sheriff Waller busted about 5 or 6 years ago? If you know about more than you should report them. I’m sure the police will be more than happy to bust them. Then problem is that you don’t know about any meth labs. You just want to talk shit and take up for suspected drug dealers.
Not only does she look good she looks BEAUTIFUL, a strong, black independent women alongside her loving fiance. Honestly, this whole thing has just turned into a media frenzy. No time was wasted to blast and downgrade Reginald,Shemika, and both families. And if i must add its really reassuring to know that you people are worried about our family and their every move. No matter how many downgrading remarks you ignorant people leave on these senseless blogs my family will CONTINUE to be strong... TRUST ME NOTHING WILL CHANGE...We appreciate all blogs even the worst ones...but mostly thanks for all the sincere prayers...everyone has their opinions but that doesn't matter because:
ok u got the black now go get the white.U was quit to put the black on the front paper but u waited to put that murder on the paper. tell that white man to stay of black ppl face.and put it in the white face sometime that the sheriff you'll won't you'll vote him in office.
I am sorry I am confused totally. When did breaking the law become legal and acceptable. They broke the law so they should accept the penalty and face the punishment. I dont care what color they are or who they are. I dont care if they are using there money for good, they broke a law and should face the fact. End of story!
GOOD JOB GUYS YALL GAVE THE WHITE PEOPLE SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU KNOW THEY GOING TO RUN THAT IN THE GROUND WE ALREADY AINT WANTED HERE IM BLACK AND PROUD P.S. IF I WASNT SCARED I WOULD SELL ME SOME TOO!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to say that this entire thread has me deeply concerned on a number of levels.
The facts have been put on the floor. No one at the newspaper made up this case. We can neither vouch for the sheriff nor for the four people accused of trafficking in cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of multiple firearms during commission of a felony. As with all court cases and as stated in both the 5th and 14th amendments, the accused were granted their 'due process' and now must face the consequences of their actions to date. We, as the citizens of Barnesville, owe it to them to see them as innocent until proven otherwise.
Here are my concerns though and I have tried to remain quiet about them. However, I can not stand by while my city, my employer, and my own belief in the American justice system are verbally assaulted by those who for whatever reason refuse to identify themselves and stay veiled as "Anonymous."
1) Prayer is a wonderful thing. However, prayer alone does not make a person innocent. Neither does the notion that a person is a "good person." While I agree that we should pray for these folks and the health of our community, I also believe that they should be held accountable as my God speaks very directly about accountability.
1.1.1) Drugs are not an isolated crime and focusing on the demise of one (ie Meth labs) does not mean that we can ignore another. They all need to be handled with swift justice as they all plague our community.
2) Nice does not equal innocent. Many criminals were perceived as nice by their neighbors.
3) Ultimately God is our judge and jury. However, with the same attention given to the New Testament - render unto Caesar what is Caesars. If these four did, in fact, break the law of man they will have to face the punishment suitable for such.
4.2) I ask you that you be careful with your words as they come across as a direct threat and that violates our Rules of Conduct on this site.
6) Walter has reported all the information that has been released by the authorities. We do not have any information more than what has been reported at this time. As information is released we will inform the public.
7) I am not sure what you are trying to get at other than you feel these four should not be held accountable for their presumed actions because they are good people, worked in an EMS position, will ultimately be judged by God, and pale in comparison to said "corrupt cops." That is a huge assumption and without any sort of proof is one that (as I have seen) is not taken lightly by other users of this site.
7.1.3) I have not yet heard anyone judging anyone outside of the context of what the four were arrested for. I find it surprising that so much of this conversation has become about meth labs. I think it is due largely to our recent coverage of the topic and I am thankful people are becoming more aware. However, we are not saying meth labs are on every corner. And if they were and were being surveyed by the authorities I don't think that information would be released for public consumption. The war on drugs is a long and arduous one and not one that will be won overnight. At some point we must all realize that drugs are drugs, dealers are dealers, and the guilty are just that....guilty!
I point out these specific infractions and verbal mistakes because I am outraged these forum boards have become nothing more than personal soapboxes. Name calling and finger pointing are so inefficient. We will find that no amount of racially charged conversation or emphatic curse words will bring justice more quickly. The grammatical errors and the misspellings and the general disregard for intelligence is mind boggling. It seems that we have so many issues to deal with in Lamar County and this thread makes that so much more obvious. This arrest has brought out the worst in us all and we should take a moment to reflect on what we say and how we say it and what dignity it may or may not bring to ourselves and those in legal question. Many of us hide behind anonymous because it is easy that way. Why not post your name though? Take responsibility for your thoughts. Enjoy your freedom of speech and know that it will be honored and appreciated.
I know that as soon as I submit this comment I will become a target for many of you. I am okay with that because I believe in what The Herald-Gazette is doing and what this site offers our community. I will also be watching the local court case with interest as it seems to already be gaining a lot of attention. Until the next post.......
You people kill me. I would be absolutely disgraced if my arrest picture landed in the paper. Y'all are trying to justify what they did and actually think God is going to justify it. Do you know how ignorant you post appear to others. If she was such a strong independent black woman and had a lick of sense about her, she would have left this dude high and dry. That was a small house they lived in so I know the rest of the family knew. Maybe all of you people praying should pray they get a light sentence.
Reggie keep your head up. White people get a life and realize we as blacks will be here. while you on here talking bad about this young man and his family it was your family members keeping him in business so shut up. whites walk around thinking they are so much better because of your skin color when you and your kids spend time at the tanning bed trying to be our color
walter geiger is so quick to put the blacks on front street if you are going to do your job then do it and put everyone's dirty laundry out there. jus simply say you dont like blacks and get it over with
when did he get so big,and why wasn't she wearing her make-up. Sorry, won't be seeing you at the crows nest. You guys are probably the people that sold crack to my aunt and dad you should've listen to T.I.P
WOW! I sit here reading the blogs on the related articles and I am still amazed at how uneducated that some of the bloggers are in 2009. Bury the conveinent race card and cruch. "You do the crime you do the time". Good people make mistakes but there are still consequences. Thank God that the previous murder case with drugs involved that was plastered in the paper, and rightfully so, was of the white race. Boy if not, we would definately be in the middle of an all out race war instead of a nonracial drug war. Wake up Barnesville, stop blaming the cops for everything. If you know something on a cop then reprot it, if nothing is done call the News station they would love to get a report like that on TV. Put up or shut up! Fortunately most are right, we do need to pray for all involved but unfortunately for the ones involved God is their only final judge, however, there is a debt to society, if convicted or found guilty that must be paid. Its called choices and consequences. As for the parents, if they didnt know then there is a bigger problem for this type of activity to go on in their home and they not know about it. Just another excuse justification. Im also sure that they have worked hard for what they have, but again, its called choices and consequences. Barnesville be thankful more of our drug dealers are off of the street. It could be your family that they are selling the drugs too.
I am relative of Shemika an she is from a descent caring home with two parents and countless numbers of other family members that love her deeply, and she knows that her family is in her corner 120% and me and mine are praying for her and Reginald safe and speedy return to resume with their lifes without all the cruel and unnesscary comments. Babygirl U and Reginald keep yall heads held high to the all mightly one above may god be with the both of you bless and keep you strong.
I moved here from another part of the country, and before everyone quickly tells me to go back where I came from, allow me to say that I am Southern born but more than that, I am a hard-working, tax-paying citizen, so I should be welcomed into this community.
That being said, I'm appalled with the racial devisiveness I witness here daily. Until everyone gets beyond this skin color issue, we will never heal.
Oh, and for those of you who are keeping track, try to guess what color my skin is? And what led you to your decision?
Now, back to the case.
I think a comment like this is in very poor taste. In a community as small as Barnesville we certainly would have covered the case had it been within the white community or the Chinese community or even the Native American community. News is news and drug dealers are drug dealers. Sorry but those are the facts.
I'm really worried about this element of Barnesville who blames everything on racism. This is not a black issue. This is not a white issue. There is no bias against blacks in these arrests. Instead these arrests are taking suspected drug dealers - whether they are respectful members of society or not - off the streets and locking them up where they can't continue to profit by poisoning others with their illegal drugs. Who's to blame here? Not the police, not the paper, not each of the suspect's families. We are the ones to blame because we allow these people to get away with their crimes. We tolerate their activities and behavior and then when they are caught they shift the blame on racism. It can only be reverse racism. President Obama take note: You can only help someone who is willing to help themselves. I'm going to send this whole blog to Hillary. This is what has happened to our village. The economic stimulus won't heal these deep rooted problems. God help us!
I agree but I also think the judicial system must help. Grand juries wake up. Judges wake up. Parole boards wake up. There are some folks who can't function as responsible, law-abiding citizens. Take them off our streets and out of our schools.
I am a Black Female. I am very disgusted with some of the blogs that I've read. The main issue here is not a Black male and a Black female. This issue is that a male and a female have been trafficking drugs. Let's not make this a race war. Some white people may be racist but lets not use these Lamar County citizens as an outlet to express our hatred of each other. If you don't want the time don't committ the crime.
i heard that buddy was just about to get a promotion as chief at the griffin fire department i wonder what there going to do with his black charger SRT-8
This shyt is crazy. You put Waller back in office and look whats happens. This should be an eye opener for all the drug dealers in Barnesville. Watch out cause it could be you next. I guess these guys where in the wrong place at the wrong time. But you do the crime and you pay the time. Watch out Barnesville!!
You are so right! I agree with you 100%. Speaking to my black brothers and sisters when do we put away the race card and begin to take responsibility for our actions. I don't wish jail on anyone nor their family, I lost my brother to the streets. Last year when they had the drug raid in Spalding county he was arrested and he still sits in jail awaiting a trial. I speak to him via phone and letters and he told me not to worry because he did the crime and he must do the time. I commend him for that. Drugs see no race, no age, or gender, and neither does crime. If you would take off your "A" caps and put on your thinking caps for just a moment you to will realize that we as a race hurt ourselves by still living with that 40 acres and a mule mentality. No one owes us anything. Selling drugs is a way to make some easy money while destroying other lives and families. Most of us want to defend them, but who defends the children whose parents are strung out because of the drugs that the dealers are putting on the street. Who defends the KIDS innocent KIDS black or white? We have the same opportunity that they have, they choose too seize the moment and we choose to live in the moment. Let justice prevail think of the future(our children)and just let the people that seized the moment and were appointed to these positions make the decisions. I am praying for them, but I am really praying for his family and his kids because he is a father!
While I don't know Shemika personally, my prayers are going out for both her and Reginald. I have known Reginald for many years, and have always kept him very close to my heart despite our differences. He is a good person who may have simply gotten caught up in the wrong things. Everyone has made their share of mistakes, some simpy more pronounced than others. I am praying for God's grace, safety and forgiveness over him. Keep your head up, you'll come out of this better than before.
I think when news happens it is in the newspaper and on this site. It just so happenes that there are way more black ppl commiting crimes that white. This is why all the blacks are trying to play the race card. There is no way for them or anyone else to justify this situation and just like jessie jackson and the majority of the rest of them the race card is the "get out of jail free" card just as in Monopoly. You get in a bind and get backed in a corner and all of a suddon. YOUR A RACIST> bla bla bla. SHUT UP IGNORANT.
If you are caught red handed as in this case you are guilty. Sure there is a process and paperwork that has to be signed and deals to be made but its not like they found his fingerprint on something and trying to place him at the scene somewhere. GET OVER IT.
All you dumb-masses that talk about the white folks drugs and meth labs etc. Do your job as a concearned citizen to help protect the lives of your children and mine and call it in. Its confidential im quite sure. But nooooo.. you have a ghetto code to live by. Cant snitch!
Its not snitching, its saving ppls lives from other ppl and dangerous drugs. If you know something, tell it. If you know where a lab is let it be known on here.
I have yet to see someone get busted for meth and white ppl say that it is a racial thing. Meth is meth and crack is crack. Its all wrong no matter who does it. LOCKEM' UP.
Sell drug is wrong make sure you bust the white people
who are selling and using meth. clean up the this town
not just the black community all community to make barnesville
safe

i think we need to go back to the real thing..its not a black or white thing its a DRUG thing...remember what they are charged with
not the color of the skin...all those who are trying to make this racial, apparently has never had a family membertaken over by this awful drug and watched the life drain from them and destroy everything around them including "FAMILY"
???????????????????????????????
I hope there are more arrest in the Barnesville
area for the sale of drug a white man was kill
several week ago it was drug related clean up
the street and be fair arrest black and
white if they do the crime both color should
do the time not the good old buddie system you
no my father and I sell drug and i get no time in prison
I am a black citzen of Lamar County and I have seen
black people all over the Newspaper and When Some white
committ a crime you don't see all that. If you gone report
the news report all the news. no matter what color the
may be..........
#36 - You must have missed a few editions of the paper. Call the Gazette and see if they can get you a copy of the paper in which the white guy's picture is shown. Remember he killed another white man, and it was reportedly drug related. Selective vision and hearing can elude quite a few facts.
#36: im just curious as to which SPECIFIC crimes that has been commited by a white person that didnt get plastered on everything. Its ok. You can call some names on here. Lets hear it.
This what it is the ones on this blog is some haterz mad cuz they money aint rite the world all messed up and if you realy got some thing evil to say keep it to you self the family going thru enough
The reason you see more news published about crimes committed by blacks is because blacks commit more crimes than whites.
If they would stop the crimonal activity the published comments would stop.
I don't think Walter sits around waiting to publish crimes by blacks. He will put the same effort in to publishing crimes committed by whites.
HINT: Newspaper!
HINT: News!
HINT: A crime is news.
Blacks commit more crime than whites. That translates into more news coverage for blacks.
Not talk about black or white, yellow and red... But no. You can't fight? Freedom!!! Color... Straight and Gay-Lesbian or Bi... Family and friend... Christian and Jews... Freedom!!! What god??? You know?
Listin....
Murder, Theft, Rape, Drug, Mob, Gang, Arson, Blackmail, Burglary, Kidnapping, Sexual Assault, Weapon, Alcohol, Speed, Pet Attack, Fight, Robbery and Terrorism. CRIME??? It the law... What god say?, Stop?... Crime Stoppers!!!
some of you people are the stupist people in this world!those people are in the dirty south nothing have changed down there especially when dealing with that so perfect skin color, but you know what god sees everything! they might think they are getting away with something but there are not! they are going to feel so stupid when they open their eyes in hell because the way they have treated people! one thing about since the election they see that what they tried to stop, they counldnt and now they so mad because they relize that they dont own this world after all! :) Rock on Mr. President! i strongly suggest if anyone havent heard young jeezy and jay-z song, then you need to go shopping! I'LL HOLLA
REG really had got above his self if u ask me.This is an example of what goes up must come down.NOBODY has 2 sale drugs. They do it by choice. As we can see this was not a wise one.I would hate 2 say hes a failure. But with all do respect he is.His job an social life just did'nt mix.As far as MsSullivan she seem to had forgotten about her nursing career/an her strongindependent woman title.Love, fast money an high dollar rims shined like gold .So she joined his team.As far as his mom and dad they knew but the money was good to them to.I pray both famlies get through this. At the same time i'm glad these drugs are off the street.Maybe this will be a warning for my nine yearold.I dont want him saling drugs to purchase his 79chevy,DODGECHARGER high dollar rims big boy clothes an to captivate women. My president is black. But my child future want be.
#43 It seems to me you have condemned white people to hell. Strange, I remember this, do you?(Judge not that you be judged) So if we as whites are going to open our eyes in hell -- I will look for you there. I don't know why you take such great credit for putting Obama in office. Do the math -- he could not have won if it were not for the white vote. While you are shopping for your so called music, might I suggest you find a copy of a tune for all "AMAZING GRACE"
No math. No. No. Not Mr. President... I mean Freedom. Freedom! That mean color people, god, christian-jews, straight and gay lesbian or Bi... Our Freedom and our Glory. Strong and never afriad...
u know what the people of barnesville is so stupid . you have some people that don't do to much but u have people that do more than others and on that note; we forget that it does not matter what we do if it is wrong it is wrong in gods eye period and and we as people judge and forget we have to all be judge and the end and if you continue to make these comments u or putting ur self in gods shoes and u are far from him and will never and up to be him
give them a break?! are you kidding me?! give them and inch & they will take up the whole street corner doing.. guess what? selling more drugs to your KIDS!... heres your hearing: caught with drugs with intent? yes sir... verdict: GUILTY... POOF! Be Gone!
I am an african american woman that grew up in Barnesville. I cant believe how ignorant and uneducated people are in this area. You all need to get out of Lamar county and see that there is other colors out there other than black and white.
The world doesnt owe you or anybody else anything. You have to get out there and earn what you want legally.
I didnt graduate from High School in Lamar County. I moved away in my Sophomore year. However, I know how to keep up with most of the black people I went to school with there. Not Facebook or myspace but the Georgia Corrections Website.
One of my goals is to someday come back to Barnesville and set up a mentoring program for african american youth.
The issue there is that the black kids dont have positive role modes. I am not prejudice at all. It is amazing to me that I truly dont see color coming from such a racially divided town.
African Americans are a miniority yet we make up the majority of the prison population. Thats my motivation for choosing to mentor black youth. However, I am open to helping all children. I would never turn anyone away due to the color of their skin.
THE WHITE PEOPLE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO VOTE FOR BECAUSE WHEN THEY VOTED BUSH IN THEY THOUGHT THEY WAS DOING SOMETHING BUT LATER FIND OUT HE HAD MESSED UP EVERYTHING FOR THEM ALSO INCLUDING SENDING THEIR HUSBANDS AND SONS TO A FAKE WAR! SO THEY ALSO WANTED A CHANGED!
I've lived in many cities in Georgia and trust me, we all get along pretty well. This blog makes Barnesville's race relations sound pretty bleak, but I've seen much, much worse. Be thankful for that at least.
Its sad that white people & black a like cant face facts that there are f%^# ups in both races! Now with that said must of the crack sold is sold by young black males but vice-versa must ice or crystal meth is sold by young white males. The black people bloging on this site sound like there blamimg every body in the world but them selfs for the bad decision that this fire fighter has made & the white people sound like they still cant get over the fact that OUR PRESIDENT IS BLACK!I will for one pray for us all.ps: dont forget when sep 11 happen god brought us together as one. What in the hell happen to all of that.I guess will all come together once somthing like that happens again!
Ok my fellow black people it's time to stand up for our kids and our community. President Obama's message to our black men is that it is past the time for every one of them to take a stand to save our communities. Selling drugs to the members of that community is not the way to stand up for it. We cannot embrace our new president solely because of his race, we have to also embrace his call to each of us to do our parts to make this world a better place for now as well as for our future. If these people were guilty of the crime why are we as black people encouraging them to "hold their heads up"? Drugs are cutting off so many dreams. There are a number of people who are caught up in this drug game who have the potential to be Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, ect., but because they took the road more traveled they are either hooked on the fast money or the drugs. I don't want the drug dealer to be encouraged to hold his head up, I want him to start being accountable for the uplifting of his community by deciding that it is indeed time to stop gaining personal wealth by destroying the fiber of our communities. We all want to support them because they are black, but it is hard for me to do that because I look at some members of my family and see what could have been. So I do encourage all to keep our prayers lifted for our community and while we are doing that its time for us to demand greater accountability by those who want to engage in the big dollar trade that continues to cut our people down.
#52 - good message. I heard Obama say our stimulus package did not have any earmarks - so I would add, don't let one man be the standard you set your goal by. As I recall, already Obama has gone back on quite a few things he said he was (or in some instances was not going to do) and as he stood before our nation, he lied about the earmarks. There is a higher power who encourages us to follow His word. I know Him as God.
For everyone who continues to glorify for him for being a brave man who saves lives, you all need to make sure that you also note the he may have saved lives by day, but he destroyed them by night. Some child's well being was compromised because his/her mother's addiction was more important than the child being fed.
I too was very troubled by the 90 year old lady being killed by the officers who raided her home on a bogus search, but what I am even more disturbed by is that the people of the community not taking some ownership for her demise. If the area had not been so heavily infested with drug activity, the officers would have had no reason to even be in her neighborhood! This is what taking accountability means. It means going a step further to take care of each other. I don't want an elderly person to be mistakedly killed in my community so I will not allow drug activity to be a part of my community. Yes the officers were wrong, but so were the people who claimed to love and respect her.
Bottom line is the NTA AND DEA built a CASE ON TAMP. This wasnt just some random tip off or traffic stop. Quit justifying his actions. A long case was built against him.
To everyone that is submitting their negative comments God truly has the last say so. I am telling you what I know and that is prayer changes everything. Regardless of what you have heard or what you saw I know that Reg has a heart of gold and it is our hearts that God judges. Besides that he has some strong prayer warriors in his corner. This is something that took place for God to gain his attention. I will say this, I promise you all that a miracle is about to take place and when it does hopefully you all will understand and know that God is able and Favor is real. So get ready to see God show up and show out because it isn't going to be as bad as you all are hoping. Sorry and God Bless
Also it is obvious that alot of you had a personal problem with Reg, who knows the reason but I tell you what if you establish a real enough relationship with God then you would more than likely pray for a person before you talk down on them. This world is something else, we are quick to comment but slow to feed the hungry, and nobody is quick give out money to the man on the corner with a sign, because you are to concern about it pushing you two steps backwards. I think it's time for everyone to stop talking crazy because you are making times tough on yourself, read the bible and see if it says anything about drugs but I can promise you that it is in there several times about passing judgement on others. It's more serious than yall think. But I just want yall to watch God work on their behalf and try not to let yourselves get mad when they get out. Just say to yourself man God done did it again!!!!!! My Faith and prayer is how I know.
Gods girl. It sounds like you are a religious person as I. Thats fine. I dont think anyone is passing judgment on anyone going to hell. There are laws of the land that must be obeyed while our time on Earth is ongoing. This being said we have judges to hand out sentencing to criminal acts on the ppl of this world. I was right with you until you mentioned that the bible dont say anything about drugs. You lost almost all credibility with me with that statement. That truely was rediculous and if there was a way to edit it i would if i was you to not make yourself look like a complete idiot. Do you really think that there was crack, cocain, heroin, marijuana etc on the streets that Jesus walked on. Ofcourse the bible dont say anything about crack. Whats wrong with you? Do you used drugs and give testimonies in church or teach a class. NO because you know it is wrong and it is definatly against Gods will.
Yea hopefully he will learn his lesson and leave all that crap alone and the ppl associated with it.
Im gonna say
15 yr sentence. He will serve 3
super large fine. Everything taken from him. Try it again in a few years.
what criminal justice class have you been taken. Technically black people do not committ more crimes than white people.Crimes that are comitted by blacks get more publicity because of the type.
First of all I would like to say that I apoligize to my family for taking them through this and putting a black eye on my family and it's name. My parents were not arrested but detained so that I would turn my self in (in which I did) because I was not at their house at that time i'm deeply sorry for any pain I have caused them. I apoligize to my friends and any associates including my co-workers and the Spalding County Government that I have let down or whom are shocked by what's going on, i'm deeply sorry to you as well. And I also want to apologize to the people lives that i've had a negative impact on. People make mistakes in life and I have made one that I have to deal with. Everyone out there can judge me if you like im ok with that half of you don't like me or know me anyway but the only people that matter to me are my family, REAL friends, and GOD. Thanks for taking your time of read this....
God's Girl, I'm not in the area yet I believe I know what you are talking about, and yes I was just telling my mother that it looked like things are about to hit the fan. It's about time, it's been far too long....and this isn't an issue that is black or white, it's about a reckoning that goes back for many years. This family hasn't been the only one caught between good and the pure evil in that area, and yes, God sometimes has to allow some things as a "wake up" call. I'm just hoping that after seeing all this prayer, that Reggie's family members are the ones whom God is using to get things done, and yes, sometimes Gods methods are not understandable....but it's not our place to understand. I hope that this case and Mr. Waller brings some people down to their knees, and it's NOT just the drug dealers, they are a very minor problem compared to the stuff people choose to ignore. People in Barnesville have thier head so far into the sand that they haven't got a real clue.
I believe Reggie and Shemika will most likely spend some time, especially if they are guilty, but I am waiting anxiously to see if others will be spending time right beside them (and even more time in some cases). If Waller doesn't have his head buried too, I hope and pray he's brave enough to arrest others in the coming months. Others who do and have done way worse than these two here.
You know we all makes mistakes in life. Im not trying to judge you or anything like that, i just hope that you have learned from this life changing experience. Sometimes we have to go through things to put us on the right path in life . Just keep GOD first in your life and and everything else will fall in place.
Mr. Tamplin, thoug I have never met you personally, I do know of you through a mutual friend. First and foremost,I encourage you to have faith in what is written in the Bible at Acts 13:38 which states:
"Therefore, my brothers, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.
Secondly, I commend you for being humble and caring enough to compose a message offering an apology to those that matter. Let it be known that I do not condone the illegal use or selling of drugs however, none of us that have been made privy to your situation via the media can pretend for one moment that our feet fit your shoes. We don't know the journey you've taken through life that led up to this point. But the good news is, that God knows and ONLY HE CAN RIGHTEOUSLY JUDGE. And whatever HIS judgement is for you, my prayer is that you have the courage and strength to endure it. And may you gain the wisdom and knowledge you need to grow as a result of it. There are so many tricks that Satan uses to ensnare us and unfortunately you may have fallen prey to one of them but you know what? We all do in some form or fashion. Be encouraged that according to Psalms 124:6-8 that God is the Author of all our deliverances, and HE must have the glory. The enemies lay snares for God's people, to bring them into sin and trouble, and to hold them there. Sometimes they seem to prevail; but in God Almighty let us put our trust, and we shall not be put to confusion. The believer will ascribe all the honour of his salvation, to the power, mercy, and truth of God, and look back with wonder and thanksgiving on the way in which the Lord has led him. Let us rejoice that our help for the time to come is in HIM who made heaven and earth.
In closing, know that All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness. Hebrews 12:11
DAMN IF I COULD SELL DRUGS I WOULD, THE SKY WOULD BE THE LIMIT. White folks rape their own kids lock dem up for dat, yall kind waiting for us coloreds to mess up. Drugs do kill but half of yall police department are using it. Let em b from MISS 17.5 GET EM GONE
Listen up everyone. This is not a rascist thing. Everyone just need to chill. What are you arguing about. I know this man personally and his entire family, but I have no sympathy. Selling drugs is wrong and if he do some time he will be miss but not forgotten. Let the law do their job and only God can judge him. All has sin and come the short glory of God. Nobody can cast a stone. If you don't have anything good to say, then don't say nothing. If reading other's opinion upset you, then you shouldn't read the blogs. People are in title to their own opinion whether it's good or bad. Some say encouraging things and other's say ignorant stuff. Yes the economy is bad, but I would rather have a peice of a job paying minimum wage, then to have no wages at all. Yes I am a black female. So this is not base on black or white. I have learned that you can't change people and their ways, but you can change yourself. It doesn't matter what people call you, it only matter what you answer to. No one in this world is perfect. We all make mistakes. We just have to be man or woman enough to deal with the consequence. So if you are taking the time to read others people commits and getting upset. Then you might need to ask yourself why are you getting so angry. You are only giving the media what they want and the DEVIL the victory. Tamp you have always been my home boy and I pray whatever your out come may be, that you stay strong and get right with God.
Sometimes we think that we can't be touched. Well
my friends nothing lasts forever. Watch many more will fall. Silence and loyalty last as long as a ICE Cream in the Summer. A deal will be offered and OTHERS will go down
The facts have been put on the floor.
Dopeboysndatrap
That being said, I'm appalled with the racial devisiveness I witness here daily. Until everyone gets beyond this skin color issue, we will never heal.
Oh, and for those of you who are keeping track, try to guess what color my skin is? And what led you to your decision?
Now, back to the case.
15 year in prison or $2.7 million fine.
You're fired!, Giffin-Spalding County Fire Chiefs said.
Shemika Sullivan:
10 or 15 year in prison or $2.7 million fine.
Virgina & David Tamplin:
8 or 10 year in prison or $1.12 million fine.
KDL
LOCKEM' UP.
who are selling and using meth. clean up the this town
not just the black community all community to make barnesville
safe
not the color of the skin...all those who are trying to make this racial, apparently has never had a family membertaken over by this awful drug and watched the life drain from them and destroy everything around them including "FAMILY"
I hope there are more arrest in the Barnesville
area for the sale of drug a white man was kill
several week ago it was drug related clean up
the street and be fair arrest black and
white if they do the crime both color should
do the time not the good old buddie system you
no my father and I sell drug and i get no time in prison
black people all over the Newspaper and When Some white
committ a crime you don't see all that. If you gone report
the news report all the news. no matter what color the
may be..........
Do the math!
Listin....
Murder, Theft, Rape, Drug, Mob, Gang, Arson, Blackmail, Burglary, Kidnapping, Sexual Assault, Weapon, Alcohol, Speed, Pet Attack, Fight, Robbery and Terrorism. CRIME??? It the law... What god say?, Stop?... Crime Stoppers!!!

Know the facts before you open your uneducated mouth!
P.S. Learn how to spell, Dumbass!
African Americans are a miniority yet we make up the majority of the prison population. Thats my motivation for choosing to mentor black youth. However, I am open to helping all children. I would never turn anyone away due to the color of their skin.
...just sayin'
