Evidence, a Zebra found grazing along I-75 in Lamar County in April 2008, has died.

Aww, how sad. That little fella sure went through a lot do to someone else's negligence.

And no one ever stepped forward to claim ownership.
I'm just glad Evidence had the short time he had in a safe place. Who knows what fate he was headed for when he fell on I-75?

I bet if Cam Newton would have put the stint in that striped horse would have survived!

This is sad. He will be missed. In his short life he did manage to become famous and loved by many by living at Noah's Ark.

Indeed, this is sad. I wonder why persons bring these animals into our country for show, and dont take care of them. The Zebra is not native to the USA, so what was he doing here, somebody wanted to show off a foreign animal. I have the same attitude with the Snake people. I guess it makes them feel big.
My sympathy's go to the animal.

First he falls off the truck in Atlanta. Years later he falls and has to be rushed to Auburn for surgery. I think the poor zebra has a history of alchoholism. So sad. He will be missed.

Why Auburn? Wouldn't he be very simple to a Horse? Couldn't a vet that works on horses stablize this animal before they transport it all that way. They are both equines. I know that it is a different genre, but still it just doesn't add up.
