That is wonderful news for Barnesville considering the negative effects going on lately.

Annie Ruth chillin' with Santa...SWEET! I work with her and I hope she didn't fool Santa about being nice this year!

Sorry the fund is low...but then again when you pay, pay and pay again and see so much abuse..but I will give my usual check and pray that it truly goes to someone in need

Does ESF only accept new toys, or can they take gently used ones? Some info from the HG would be helpful for those of us who'd like to help out.

They can take either one. You can drop off toys at Barnesville city fire, Station in Milner, School bus shop, Lamar Co. Activity Center, Slices, or the Chamber! Thank you so much! if you have any other questions you can email me at Rb129368@gdn.edu and i will try to answer any questions you may have about anything!! Thank you once again!

Walter, Why are you not posting the issues that people have with "Santa" playing santa? He has pulled the wool over your eyes also?

I agree. Most of the people who stand in line to get free food and toys for their kids are getting all kinds of public assistance. Let their food stamps buy canned goods for them this year and they can lay off their cigarettes and beer to buy their kids a Christmas gift. If I knew it was going to hard working people who are TEMPORARILY having a tough time, I wouldn't mind. I'm keeping my money this year. I'll find someone on my own who deserves to be helped.
