No description of the suspects so they must be caucasion? All of law enforecement get their training in Forsyth and the Department of Corrections are now located there. Then again, it is hard times and we are going to hear many more of these types of storie. We may all be in prison one day... for commenting.
Truth be told if everyone really seen how our legal system worked, now I understand why criminals are free and sorry moms have there kids. Most people have no idea how easy judges let off people and don't require proof for the things criminals are claiming to be doing to so call better themselves. It's a joke. Makes me not want to serve jury duty anymore.
Didn't you know that supposed to our dirty little secret that only lamar county citzens know! At the end of the day at least we don't have to pay to board them and laywer them up.
I may be a day or two late , but at least I'm not a dollar short . I believe a good ole fashioned back lashing will make some of the small time offenders reconsider their actions . Spare the rod spoil the child . I guarantee that will cut back on the over crowding of jails and save tax payers money . As for the repeat offenders, give them the opportunity to ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness and accept Him as their savior then put them to death . I challenge you to bring back capital punishment to Georgia with todays forensics and watch things change . I guarantee you the crime rate will drop . The bleeding hearts of this state are right in forgiving them of their actions, but we should not allow criminals to continue without a life altering or life ending punishment .
WOW. Over populated because of non-violent drug offences??? Let's think back to 2 weeks ago when state trooper Chad LeCroy was gun downed by someone who was previously charged with drug trafficking. Had the judicial system not failed Trooper LeCroy would still be alive. Drug Trafficking is a offence that should be considered violent due to the high rate of violence that normally follows these people. It's time the judicial system quit failing the people and do what they are there for instead of getting a quick dollar from a bond and being done with it.
Yes, and thats my whole point. If the judicial system would quit failing the people of the community the crime rate would drop tremendously. Drug charges, domestic violence, battery charges should all require some hefty consequences instead of throwing these people right back on the road after allowing them to make bond to commit more crime. I'm not saying that everyont that is locked up is bad, but when someone is arrested multiple time on an array of charges violent or non-violent, that shows there to be a problem that needs to be fixed.
