Georgia immigration fight a sham

As goes Arizona, so goes Georgia.

Lawmakers got the ball rolling last week on the issue that could be the dominating one for this session of the General Assembly: immigration control.

This report is a shame! The agricultural business would not collapse. There are agriculture visas available that allow agriculture to document as many workers as they need. What would happen is the American taxpayer would not have to foot the bill for the workers and the workers would not be allowed to steal jobs and benefits from the American citizens.
Georgia and Arizona should just adopt the US Federal laws on immigration just as they do on every other federal law. If every state adopted the federal law then there would not be separate laws in every state but ONE law throughout the country. No state allows drug traffiking or any other federal crime why should the states not allow illegal immigration?

So if this law passes. We would be able to sue the local law enforcement if they do not enforce this law? We will be rich!!!!!! Seeing how they barely enforce the laws we have now.

With the economy in such a mess I am sure that there would be a lot of legal citizens that would work. If not legal citizens then the prisons are full of criminals that could do the job. Illegal immigration only hurts the economy by giving benefits to these people. If they want to come to America, the right way would be to get a legal green card. If an illegal imigrant commits murder in this country and makes it back across the border they will never be punished.

In reply to this report, many of us who live in Ga have already contacted J. Isaakson and S. Chambliss to help us with the ILLEGAL ALIEN problem we have in Ga.
Since the federal government won't do anything, it's time for the states to address the issue themselves.
The farm workers can come here legally thru visa's, etc. This is all we ask... come here legally and follow the laws that all Americans have to follow. And don't expect America to support you when you get here.

This is simple. If you have a problem with Illegal Immigrants...Google Illegal.

Get some... take them home with you, support them without government assistance, educate them take them through the LEGAL Naturalization process. Then turn them loose and welcome them to America.

Until then, they are thieves in America and should be treated as such.

Sound cold! The truth is like that sometimes.

It disgusts me when people gripe about African-Americans on government assistance and defend ILLEGAL Immigrants.

What is wrong with that picture?

What do agricultural countries do that do not have a steady influx of cheap labor? They innovate, they create machinery to do the work of the day laborers. Even delicate olives can be harvested by mechanical means. Everyone complains that we are not a country that manufactures anything anymore. We could manufacture harvesting equipment at a higher rate, thereby driving the cost of the equipment down making it affordable for our local farmers to utilize. We would be increasing jobs in the manufacturing sector, we would make farming (a much needed and thankless job) more profitable and we would dry up the demand for illegal migrant workers.

obama needs as many as he can get into the states before he grants amnesty to all of them in order to get some votes in 2012.

There are many students that have illegal parents. They need to give them a chance so they can achive their goals. They will bring the whole nation together. They are our furture. This law would destroy everthing

i dont know what everyones talking about taking benifets from american citizens. I mean dosent every worker get benifets regaurdless?

It’s hard to believe how ignorant people are. Persons who don’t even know the situation have a opinion, I for one am of a Hispanic race and i am a legal citizen. I work in the poultry business and we depend on these workers simply because Americans being white or black do not want to do the job. People don’t realize how important we are to maintaining this economy stable, but people big offices don’t see that. they just receive products and move them around to make a profit. They don’t see all the man hours that go in there by illegals that Americans don’t want to do. Sadly enough illegal immigrant work more for less pay that’s why many Employers op to hiring illegals immigrants to work.
