what they name the institution formed by the merger of griffin tech and flint tech? having trouble understanding the controversy there.

The controversy is not about the name but both campuses remaining autonomous. I have a daughter who attended Flint Tech and a friend who teaches at Griffin who wants to keep her job.

Some people like to cause trouble. One of the main trouble makers up here is a friend of a big trouble maker down there.

This is strange. Arguing over what to name a school after it merges with another. That doesnt mean anything to me.
What means to me, is how much money is wasted in this enterprise, why did it have to be, and was the merger necessary.
Nobody seems to answer these types of questions.

Did changing the school name cost any more than moving the sidewalk at Gordon 18 inches? Doubt it. So why is it a big deal.
