..oh wait...
Anyone else remember the Magnum burglars? Caught in Monroe County.
But hey, dogs, especially police attack dogs, are very safe in Lamar county.
African American pizza delivery folks? Not so much...
Brought back for some reason that 90 votes in Milner thought was a good idea.
I love proactive policing. Now if only they would use those techniques against sexual predators!
Some people are to stupid to see that, but they are too hung up on the past.
Thanks Larry!
This is quite an honor for our little burg.
I have never met you all personally but you are all heroes. As are all deputies and servants of Justice.
'den of inequity' run by a local politician, it would keep some of the thug element out of our county.
Mr. Waller, my kids don't go to school on I-75. I do not shop on 75. We don't have any parks on 75. It's good that your officers are making busts out there, but don't you think that maybe...just maybe. There are still drug dealers living in our county that need incarcerated?
So instead of treating them as criminals, the police should confiscate their drugs and provide them with a rehab center number and address.
President Obama has already stated that he would treat the war on drugs as a public health issue instead of what's been done before by previous administrations. This "war on drugs" has caused more harm than good by destroying thousands of families and wasting billions of taxpayer dollars incarcerating nonviolent offenders.
Besides, life is too short to be condemning others for their lifestyle choices. You only live once. I personally believe you should have complete control over your personal freedoms as long as you don't impair or intrude on someone else's freedoms and life.
Just my two cents(:
I don't think our culture drives people to take drugs. I think it's an individual's own choice, so I as part of the "culture" refuse to take any credit or responsibility for a person's choices.
Drug addicts are a drain on this country. Whether they miss time at work, steal from the company, steal from taxpayers by living on the system, steal to support their habit, fling their children into the foster care system or stay at home living off family members, I fail to see how our culture is at fault.
I am curious to see what your solution is to deal with addicts. Does society owe it to them to pay for their rehab?
Now that we have an outstanding ICE TEAM , I think we should concentrate on putting together an outstanding patrol division that will serve and protect the citizens and properties of this county !
How many times have you seen a patrol unit pass by your house if you live on a county road? How many roadblocks have you seen to prevent crime on the back roads ? If you have dialed 911 , how long did it take for someone to respond ?
Why do we waist so much time and money on drug dealers ? Abortion is legal so that a life that was never given an opportunity can be taken , but we continue to turn out dealers and give them every opportunity !
Drug dealers are killing users by supplying . STOP the suppliers by abortion ( BULLET IN THE HEAD ) and the number of users will decrease . You call this the WAR ON DRUGS, so start slingin some lead ! Abort the problem ! We can make it cheaper to put one six feet under than to feed and clothe them . I'll dig the hole !
more a year to keep them in the pen that a child in school. Georgia already has the forth larges prison population in the nation.
