Morehouse police chief Vernon Worthy pleaded no contest to multiple charges in Lamar superior court Tuesday morning.

So when will Wothyless be charged with the perjury charge for lying in court?

That sounds like a real "heartfelt apology" from Vernon. You are a bully Vernon Worthy. You will be sufficiently paid back one day.....I hope you are intimidated so bad that you think you slipped up and tried to "Make Clint Eastwood's Day."

Believe it or not sometimes good people can do dumb things. None of us are infallible and I'm sure you have also had your share of moments where you would have reacted differently if given another chance (granted you probably wouldn't have pulled out a gun I assume).
Fortunately no one was hurt and now everyone can move on.

Judge Wilson was restricted in his punishment in this case because the SECOND grand jury BLEW IT!
Vernon plead nolo. Read the back papers about his treatment of Mr. Rooks. Then come back and defend him. Any good, if any, that he accomplished in the past will be washed away like the clean water on Possum Trot Road.
Put your LOVED one on the ground praying and begging for his life while your Bully Boy says.........
"He told me 'I will blow your (expletive deleted) brains out if you try anything'," Rooks said. He added that he feared for his life and started praying aloud only to hear Worthy say, "God is the only (expletive deleted) who can help you right now".
