Dickens obituary
John E. Dickens Jr., 81, died Friday. Services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Barnesville First Baptist Church. The family received friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in Thomaston from 6-8 p.m. Saturday. They also received friends at First Baptist from 1-2 p.m. Sunday.

Happily, we can be among those with that grand prospect of living forever. Such devotion, the Bible says, "holds promise not only for this life but for life come." That "life indeed" and "the real life."-1 Timothy 4:8; 6:19.
