Barnesville police investigators are searching for three black males who burglarized the Subway franchise on College Drive at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday, April 10.

I guess they would have to car jack a good citizen in Lamar Co. and go to another county to accomplish that crime.

Oh, my gosh.
Well if Subway puts out a reward, I'd say someone will turn the guys in for the reward money.
If Subway and the police are just expecting someone to "do the right thing because it's the right thing to do", I'm not as hopeful.

There is a solution to this; its called the 2nd amendment. Perhaps stores owners/staff should be armed with a weapon on the premises. Perhaps they would think twice about robbing places if they knew they might leave, in a body bag.

An African American is someone born in Africa who then moves and gains citizenship in America.

Was the store open at 1:30 am? If not, what did they get away with- bell pepper and tomatoes? I know they didn't get any meatballs or steak and cheese cause they run out of that every day by 4:00.

Have you noticed that the Atlanta TV stations don't even discribe the race of crooks many times? Like the white lady that was attacked as she left a filling station. People were pumping gas and no one came to help her. If three white thugs attacked a black lady for her purse you can be sure that would have been big hate crime news. Three black thugs attack a white lady for her purse and they only say three men. What's up with that?

I work at subway it really don't matter what color they was no one was there and no one got hurt thank you jesus for that,thats all that matter it could have turned out deadly but it didn't so praise god for that

An African American is one who heritage is African, but born in America...No one ever seems to debate Italian-Americans, Irish-Americans, etc...The only true Americans are the Native Americans who were robbed of their rightful place in this great country...

I hate the blatant racisim in this town that I've lived in all my life. Why can't we base our opinions of people on their character and not the color of their skin? So these were black people committing this crime. Plenty of crimes committed by white people. Read on down the barnesville.com page....white man molesting kids. Just sayin. The racisim in this town is crippling and it is a shame.

Times are changing. Blacks will be on par with whites and they will both start hating on mexicans. The switch is already taking place. There is always some group that is attacked based on stereotypes.

An AMERICAN is from the heritage of "My Grandfather, Daddy. etc fought for my Freedom in the Military." You have a child in the military....BE PROUD! Because it means he/she EVEN enlisted. The rest of you, including our current president and Clinton who ran to England to keep from being drafted should not be allowed to use the word American as a prefix or suffix to their name.

I think banks should have a button that they push that alerts the police and secures exits simultaneously. What are they going to do...commit murder when they know the Police are on the way and they know they cannot get out?
