IDA executive director Missy Kendrick, who as a CERT team member was at the forefront of tornado rescue efforts early Thursday, reported today the Chamber of Commerce is taking over coordination of relief efforts in the aftermath of last week's killer twister.

Although we don't see eye-to-eye about the type of businesses brought to Lamar and the IDA in general, that's a specific issue dealing only with that issue.
You are a generous person, as are all those who are helping with the aftermath of the tornado. Way to go Missy and Chamber.
