Despite the tornado that ripped through Lamar County last Thursday morning, that afternoon local cancer survivors were out in force for the Relay for Life survivor’s reception at Slices Pizza.
“It was really well attended. There was a great turnout considering what had just happened. That was amazing,” said organizer Ruth Hice.
