A traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., is coming to the Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park Memorial Day weekend, from Friday, May 27 until Monday, May 30.

The Wall (at least the real one in DC) is the most powerful and touching war memorial in the USA. No other memorials come close in honoring fallen heroes.

This one is pretty impressive, a lot of work went into bringing it here and setting it up. Another fine job by Spalding Co. Parks and Rec.
It is worth seeing.

Griffin is the first city in the country to get the wall twice. The display is impressive and should be seen by all. The park has been transformed into a true display area and tribute to the men and women of the military. Spalding County P&R is an award winning recreation dept come up and see why...

Those of you that missed the opening ceremony, really missed out on a touching tribute to the men and women who fought and died in Vietnam.

As one who has lost a loved one to the Viet Nam war, I am grateful that these men and women have not been forgotten. My brother was only 19 when he gave his life for our country 43 years ago today, but he was a man. We honor Lance Cpl. Carlton H. Hood and all others who have given their lives for our freedom!

Your brother gave the ultimate sacrifice and I am grateful for heroes like him. Thank you to your brother, your family, and all the other men/women in uniform that serve our country bravely! USA USA
