Brinkley obituary
Dorothy Jeanette Torbert Brinkley, 78, of Barnesville died Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Services will be held Saturday, May 28, at 2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, May 27, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Except for the newest pastor of Mt. Zion Baptist, I'm probably one of Jeanette Brinkley's newest friends. She was a dear lady and a joy to know. During our eight year friendship, I discovered that my granddaddy, Rev. John Cox preached at Mt. Zion and one of Mt. Zion's earliest pastors was the charter pasator of New Hebron where I preach. May her family realize that Jeanette was the best among sainted mothers, sisters, aunts, cousins and friends. My best to all! Dwain W. Penn,
