After finishing third in the District 3 Dixie Youth Minors tournament in Roberta, the Lamar County 9/10 year old all star baseball team is headed to the state tournament.

The winner plays Sunday at 7:30 pm against either Wrens or Albany.
The loser will play Sunday at 3:30 pm against either Wrens or Albany.
The tournament is being played at the Lee County Recreation Complex located at 141 Park St., West Leesburg, Georgia.
Admission if $5 per day. Children 6 and under admitted free.
No coolers will be allowed to enter the complex.
The local boys are tentatively scheduled to play Winder at 5:30 Sunday afternoon.
Lamar dropped its opening round game to Winder Sunday while Albany was beaten by Wrens in the first round.
The winner of today's Lamar/Albany game will face the loser of today's Buford/Newton County game Tuesday at six o'clock. The loser goes home.
