A man was shot to death at Jr. Food Mart on College Drive in Barnesville late Thursday after an altercation.
UPDATE: The Herald-Gazette has learned from sources the victim in the shooting was Christopher Martin Stepanski, 26 of Holmes Street in Barnesville. His body has been taken to the GBI crime lab for autopsy.

Frenchie doesn't have children nor a wife. Yet he was working 2 jobs. He was not leaving a "devoted family" at home while he hung out in the streets looking for trouble. Trouble found him and he stopped it. I'm just sorry he didn't stop after the first shot. If he had perhaps the dead man would still be alive and Frenchie wouldn't be charged with Murder. This should be a lesson for all the real THUGS out there looking to start trouble. You may think you are bullet proof and that you rule the streets, but it only takes one encounter with the wrong person to be proven wrong.
